  1. I have now perfected the lightning behavior. I only have this pic just to give you an idea. It's really fast. Note that lightning may indeed strike in the same place, but not in the same way.
  2. Yes, it was Eve xp

  3. Can you guess what planet I'm orbiting? Also, I slapped this together:
  4. That I do! I like the look of that Mun station btw.
  5. Normal maps and volumetric support for bodies with no surface. Idk if this is possible, but support of higher resolution textures would be nice too. I'm afraid I don't have much time left. I won't be around when it's finished, but these are the features I would have wanted.
  6. I would love to help out with the texturing, but I've reached a point in my life where I will only have occasional internet access at best in about a week. Sorry, but this is it for me. I hope you guys make something great!
  7. I found these images of a craft I made two years ago: I called it Prometheus. Also this old twitch Kerbacon meme I started: Mun Interstellar-ish lander from two years ago: Notice the altitude. Mun was a whole lot smoother back then. On top left, you can see the Prophecy probe looking back at the lander. To the right, is the lander looking down at the probe. Plot twist: those aren't stars - they're waves rocks. A bit off-topic, but I also found my first hand-made animation: (water physics is self-animated ofc) Today:
  8. I took another picture of it from Kerbin's northern icecap. Update: I've just decided to make them a bit higher on Kerbin and Eve.
  9. It is! It's just a poem I remembered from childhood by Pushkin. Here you can see the Laythe auroras are a bit yellowish. There is also some snow going by in the background.
  10. ×øüýõõ утрþ Ãœþрþ÷ ø ÑÂþûýцõ; ôõýь чуôõÑÂýыù! Õщõ Ñ‚Ñ‹ ôрõüûõшь, ôруó ÿрõûõÑÂтýыù  ßþрð, úрðÑÂðòøцð, ÿрþÑÂýøÑÂÑŒ: Þтúрþù ÑÂþüúýуты ýõóþù ò÷þры ÃÂðòÑÂтрõчу ÑÂõòõрýþù ÃÂòрþры, ×òõ÷ôþю ÑÂõòõрð ÑÂòøÑÂÑŒ!
  11. Yes, and I did find a way to change some in-game textures. Although the loading screen one won't be around for Interstellar. I might have to save it for PARADISE since it will have many textures replaced (meaning 1gb installation). There is a download available: https://github.com/rbray89/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/releases/tag/7-4 I currently have no issues. Some report issues with city lights. I wrote how to fix that on my mod page.
  12. Few weeks ago I had to decide what to name the next big update for my mod. Now, I am guilty as charged for using movie references in the past, but I'd by lying if I said that I had any other ideas that could bring the essence of the mod in one or two words. I often find myself very into playing KSP each time I watch a sci-fi film such as this. And I can already tell that this movie is going to be a sci-fi classic.
  13. Neat! Reminds me of a steampunk texture pack from years ago.
  14. It looks the same, only as a sphere. It actually looks like the sun somewhat more now. This is the only picture I took outside: This is several hundred meters above. Currently the passage is very glitchy (staying true to the movie at least), but I have a way of working around that issue.
  15. I've been experimenting with the Sun(shine). Welcome to Icarus 69. "BRB - left to restart the Sun." Infertility. This is how you get it.
  16. Apparently o_. FOV changes as well if I use the scroll wheel to zoom, but not with keys.
  17. Yep. When zoomed in like this, you can easily see one layer moving while playing at 1x speed. You can also see it without zooming in, but it is more subtle.
  18. I updated the original post with a link to a gif for the animation
