I wouldn't say it's a great engine, its not terrible and can get the job done but probably isn't the best for running a game like ksp. -
I would be fine with terrain editing but voxels are a strange way to go with smooth surfaces like planets.

I very much doubt this and I hope this isn't the case, there is no need for there to be voxel terrain to make a good game.

I just hope there is more to do on kerbin, I want some airports scattered around the planet so you could have passenger missions to specific places that make sense.
