For once, the song stuck in my head is my favorite, so I want it to stay stuck there! I have no idea what the name of this song actually is, but it is my favorite and has been for a while. Also, the Futurama theme song has been stuck in my head too.

Hmm, is it bending, or just flat out falling over while remaining rigid as a whole? If it is bending before falling, then you just might need to use autostrut on some of the parts. If it is just falling over, then it could be a weight distribution issue, or much more likely, something else I don't know about. Sorry if this is no help at all, but check if this works (Unless you already used autostrut or normal struts.)

Who here can make an all terrain mobile crane in KSP that looks as close to the real crane as possible? (Actually, I would prefer all-terrain mobile cranes, but any crane from tower cranes to crawler cranes to ring cranes would be fine, as long as they look close to the real thing.
EDIT TO CHALLENGE RULES: Participants can either attempt to make the most realistic looking crane, or a crane with the highest lifting capacity, even if it is not aesthetically realistic.
Here is the challenge badge or whatever you want to call it. If you want to participate, add it to your signature! I recommend scaling it down to about 256x160.
Here are mine, including the Kiebherr KTM 1120-4.3, Kiebherr KTM 1030-2.1, Kiebherr KTM 1300-6.2, and Kiebherr KTC 1050-3.1. Sorry there are so many pictures, but I use Kerbal Space Program more like Kerbal Crane Simulator. As Hans Kiebherr always said, "Why go to space when you can lift the stars themselves?"

No, you're not the only one. I don't know if anyone will see this because this thread is over 5 years old, but I really want to fly and/or build a planet express ship in KSP. I could try to build one myself though, I'm pretty good at making replicas of stuff. I have KAS, both DLCs, and tweakscale.

Although it's not really technical support, I want to know if a yoke that you hook up to a computer will work with KSP. I don't have one, but I am looking for one for Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX) and KSP (If it will actually work with KSP).

I tried to make a new crawler crane: the Kiebherr KR 1800.1, a Kerbal version of the Liebherr LR 1800.1. I just noticed the KR 1800 is smaller than the LR 1800.
It didn't end well.....
I think something about the KarioTray (Kerbal version of Liehberr VarioTray crawler crane counterweight system) made it go BOOM!
Fun fact: "LR" stands for "Liebherr Raupenkran". Raupenkran is German for crawler crane, and Liebherr is a German company.

The Hans Liebherr quote is an actual quote, while the others are either from animated TV show characters or famous Kerbals.

the Katerpillar flag (Kerbal version of Caterpillar construction equipment logo),
the KerbalKran industries flag (A 100% Kerbal company-It is pronounced "Kerb-ull- kron" [Kran is German for crane]),
the US and German flags (I obviously didn't make them, but I did make them into KSP flags),
and the KASA logo (I use it, but I Didn't make this on my own. I can't remember who did or where I got it, but it's here)
As a bonus, I also included 3 other flags- 2 basic color flags : Blue and red, and the regular Liebherr flag.

Thank you so much, Lisias! Kerbal foundries is working now! Below you will see the first thing I built with Kerbal foundries, a Kiebherr K 924 crawler excavator. Really, I just took a small wheeled excavator I made and put tracks on it, but I will make a bigger one-Maybe a Kiebherr K 956 (Liebherr R 956). I will make a video of the K 924 and put it on my YouTube channel.

I checked, and it is in the proper GameData folder, not in the GameData folder in the GameData folder (In the GameData folder, In the GameData folder, inside that GameData folder, then in that Game Data folder!

Here's the link:https://kerbalx.com/Ben_J_Kerman/KTM-1120-43. Just be aware that you might have some problems depending on how heavy the pod is. If you need me to, I could attempt to construct a skycrane helicopter or a better ground based crane, but so far, even with the DLC, I have not been able to make a helicopter that actually flies.
Also, thanks for helping me out with Tweakscale earlier, Lisias! One thing thing that would really help me with crane construction (crane-struction!) would if I could scale the hydraulic cylinders from Breaking Ground, if that is possible (You made Tweakscale, right?
)

Use a crane to get them down! I make my cranes using Kerbal Attachment System, the Breaking Ground DLC, and for some I use the structural panels from Making History. If I can ever get it downloaded, I will use Kerbal Foundries to make lattice boom crawler cranes, telescopic crawler cranes, crawler excavators, and other things with tracks. I attempted to make a Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 replica (The world's largest mobile crane) . As you might be able to guess from my signature, I call it the Kiebherr KTM 11200-9.1. Yesterday I made a LRT rough terrain crane (KRT 1090-2.1) in KSP. Check out my YouTube channel -I am Ben Huntington- to see other cranes I made. Not all cranes and trucks I have made in KSP are on that channel (Not even close), but I will be adding more in the future and it shows you some of what I make.

Ok, so I was able to extract the file into my GameData folder (I used a different program called "7-Zip") But now, even when I put it in the folder and started KSP, I didn't see any parts! I didn't even see it in the advanced part search, just wondering if it was some sort of bug or something that made it so it didn't show up in the normal parts list (Can't remember exactly what that area was called, but I think it was named in the KSPedia). Does anyone have any idea why I would be having this problem, or how I can fix it?

A recently made Kiebherr KRT 1090-2.1 (Kerbal version of Liebherr LRT 1090-2.1) If you go to the "Heavy mobile crane trucks-Who all has them" thread, you will see more pictures of cranes, including my KTM 1120-4.1, KTM 1030-2.1, and KTC 1050-3.1 (Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1, LTM 1030-2.1, and LTC 1050-3.1 respectively, you get the idea-Add a "K") I will post the other cranes here later.

The part description says "This unit was something one of our engineers came upon while dumpster divin-- Erm, while researching alternative applications for existing technologies." I think it might be very rotten, very old snacks, or maybe evidence that the Kraken really exists................
Also, does anyone know how I add a signature to my posts?
One last thing: Please help me!! I am having trouble with installing Kerbal Foundries. Go to the Modded PC Technical support forums to learn more. If you can help me, please do!

I finally got it to download, but when I try to extract the files (I am using WinRAR), it says the "Archive is corrupt". Does anyone know why would it be saying this, what exactly does it mean, and how I can fix it? I think my computer just doesn't want me to have Kerbal Foundries!
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

This poll is for crane lovers and construction enthusiasts who want to say what their favorite brand of cranes is. My favorite brand is Liebherr, and that is evident if you look at the other stuff I post on this forum.
