  1. I need help downloading Kerbal Foundries-I need the tracks to make crawler excavators, crawler cranes, tanks, etc. The only link I have found that is for the newest version (I have KSP 1.11.1, Technically KSP 1.11.1.3066, but I don't now if that matters) is on GitHub, but at about 75% done it says network error, and then as I try to resume the download, it says "forbidden". It could have something to do with my download speed being 0.2 Mbps, but I think it is can get up to around 5 Mbps (Pretty slow, long story)

Long-ish story short, before I make it too much more confusing, does anyone have a link to download the latest version of Kerbal Foundries that is not GitHub, or does anyone know why it would be saying forbidden?

  2. Sorry it took me so long! Here are images of the Kiebherr KTM 1120-4.2, Kiebherr KTM 1030-2,1, and Kiebherr KTC 1050-3.1. Sorry if there are too many pictures, but I wanted to give you a good view of the cranes. I have also made other cranes which may or may not be posted here and on the Steam Workshop somewhat soon. As you can see, I updated the driver's cab for the KTM 1030-2.1, and it is closer to the real Liebherr cab than the one on the KTM 1120-4.2.

  3. First of all: Welcome to the Kerbal World! I do play KSP through Steam, and have not looked into how to install KSP without Steam, or its advantages. I do know that the $39.99 for KSP is definitely worth it, and that Steam sometimes gives sales on the DLCs and probably the base game as well. Also, and I do need to check on this, but I believe you can change the measurement units from metric to standard in the settings, but correct me if I am wrong.

One thing I have noticed is that you should try to have enough RAM and hard drive space to make KSP run at a good speed. I was, just a couple months ago, playing on a different computer. It had an almost full hard drive, (Can't remember the RAM on it, but it is pretty important for computer speed) and it took almost 10-15 minutes just to LOAD KSP!! I hope you do decide to purchase KSP and have lots of fun and learn from it.

    Good luck!

  4. I have made a Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 replica (Kiebherr KTM 1120-4.1), a Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 Replica (Kiebherr KTM 1050-3.1), and some mobile gantry cranes. The Kiebherr cranes look pretty close to the real life version, but don't work very well since I only used the alligator hinges from Breaking Ground instead of an actual luffing ram (I use Tweakscale, Breaking Ground, and KAS to build most cranes , but on some cranes I use the panels from Making History). One of the gantry cranes I made, though, can lift approx. 4 tons or something like that. I think that crane was a "KerbalKran Industries"  GKR-978B. I have put the Kiebherr crane, as well as a "KerbaLift" KFL-300E forklift on the steam workshop. Also, espm400, I think it's really cool that you know Liebherr:cool:! They are my favorite company, and I really want an LTM 1030-2.1 (Not a model, a real crane!!:sticktongue:) Unfortunately, I saw a USED crane that was like $200,000 or $300,000, and it was in the UK, so we would need to travel there, pay in pounds, and then somehow pay to get it shipped back to the US!

PS: I will not be surprised if nobody sees this post, and I know that I am posting on a 7 year old thread.

  5. Anyone who wants to post cranes, cars, trucks, excavators, loaders, rovers, truck-like rovers, and other stuffs and things, put them here! I myself have built 2 gantry cranes, at least 6 mobile cranes, 2 tower cranes(neither tower cranes work though ), some trucks, a car, 2 forklifts, an ADT (Articulated Dump Truck), and even a wheeled excavator. Also many, many rockets and a ton of aircraft...

Check and search the steam workshop for forklifts and cranes by "Bjh223".

  6. Sorry if I am off topic here and not helping anything, but I just wanted to say to Aahz88 that I think it is cool that you used Kif from Futurama as your profile picture. Only some people will understand it, but it is funny for the people who do!

Also, I'll look into that mod, but I don't want to slow down my computer too much (Luckily it is pretty fast. The computer I was using before took at least 12 minutes JUST TO LOAD KSP!), and I have already successfully made mobile gantry cranes, all terrain mobile cranes, and even a compact mobile crane with Tweakscale, KAS, and Breaking Ground. Search for "Mobile Crane" on the Steam Workshop. Look for a "Kiebherr KTM 1120" and "KerbalKran 600".  Also, on the second page of crafts if you select the "rover" and "robotics" filters, you will see my forklift-a KerbaLift KFL300E. Again, sorry for being off-topic and stuff...

  7. I should probably make more rockets and planes. I have recently been making things like trucks, vans, mobile cranes, gantry cranes, tower cranes (I really like cranes ;), especially Liebherr cranes) Ii really want to make it to the Mün. I have both DLCs, so I can make a nice Saturn V replica.

  8. It appears that I've fixed it! :D:D Somehow,  the ModuleManager.dll ended up in my OneDrive . I put it back, along with a Physics file and Techtree file, loaded KSP, and I could tweak and scale parts again! My save files are even back to normal. I still need to make sure everything is working, but I think Tweakscale is working again! Thanks, Lisias-I don't think I could have done it without your help :)!

Oh, and sorry about saying KSP 1.11.4. I have been playing Minecraft 1.16.4 since I screwed up Tweakscale, and I got it confused with Kerbal Space Program 1.11.1!

  9. Thank you, Lisias. A couple things though: What is module manager, how can I get it, and where do I put it in GameData?-When I downloaded Tweakscale, it didn't appear to come with Module manager, but I have no idea why I need it for Tweakscale. Also, is it a problem that I have a GameData folder in my GameData folder? I think it may have to do with the way I unpacked the zipped folder. I have not had any issues until I messed with the files. And, after installing 1.11.1, I also may have seen a different error message, but I can' t remember; I do remember that I deleted some files-can't remember what ones-I know, not very helpful:/. I just want to get KSP working properly again as soon as possible ;.;, but thanks for the image-It helped a lot!

Never mind-I think I was just confused by the way the folder was unpacked into it's own Tweakscale folder; I am going to try and arrange the files properly and get back to you. Hoping it works!!!

  10. In my opinion, Breaking Ground is definitely worth it, I am at least 97% sure  . I adds in a bunch of robotic parts which you can use for anything from airbrakes to gantry cranes to rover ramps to centrifuges, as well as rover arms, and cargo containers (although I think now the containers are in stock KSP. I have built many mobile and gantry cranes with Breaking Ground. Check on the Steam Workshop for my?imw=268&imh=268&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=true "Kiebherr KTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane"; any crane enthusiasts will understand this. Also, depending on how long you want to wait, there is probably going to be some kind of sale on Steam for the DLC at some point, if that's what you're using.

  11. I haven't played KSP in a week or two because I have had problems with Tweakscale because I messed with the GameData folder (See my other topic-Named: Tweakscale Troubles-Please help!!!:What should my GameData folder contain?),  but before that I made things like a "Kiebherr";)(Liebherr) KTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane, with the help of Breaking Ground, Tweakscale, and KAS. I also made a truck, and some gantry cranes. I was also working on a Saturn V replica, using the Making History DLC.  My KTM 1120-4.1 is available on the Steam workshop, as well as a KerbaLift KFL 300 forklift.

  12. I need help figuring out what my KSP Gamedata and Tweakscale folders should look like.  A little while before this, I had been having no problems with or warnings from Tweakscale whatsoever. Then, I updated KSP (Not to the current newest version, but a newer version; can't remember what version or when), and saw a warning how it may not work with this version. I ignored it, and had no troubles. Recently, after I updated to the current newest version (Version 1.11.1), I decided to install the newest version of tweakscale, and attempt to get rid of the "May not work with this KSP version" warning. In doing this=, I messed up my files, and now Tweakscale does not work and all my tweakscaled craft files are corrupted.  I can deal with the files, I just need to know how to get Tweakscale working again; Please help!!!
