MechJeb has fail many of my landing, keep a close eye on it when closing with the ground, I tend to turn it off for the last hundred meters and finish the landing manually. Especially on uneven landing zone!

Duna, easy to land on, easy to take off from, it has a nice moon easily reachable. So many opportunities for various mission. Eve... Once you have landed on, you are practically stuck there.

I like the icy plains of Vall and the mythical Stonehedge. Laythe is nice, but bleh, I hate it in a way because it has so few emerged terrain to land on... Tylo is too dense to be fun. Bop is dull, I'm actually fighting my way from the equator to the Kraken corpse, 30Deg Cliff and low grav = a hell of a ride in rovers. Pol is funny with it's weird shape, I need to give her more love. My vote goes to Vall.

I've been almost everywhere, except Tylo and Eeloo. My favorite is Duna, it's close, it has a big nice moon, the gravity is low but not too much, the atmosphere is allowing aerobraking. It reminds me Mars of course, but I also think about it as Arrakis (Dune) analog. My least favorite is Dres, I've only been there once, and its SOI is so small that it's such a pain to get captured by it!
