  1. You can turn off the battery or capsule you don't want to drain out. (Press de little "play" button at the right of the electricity level bar)
  2. Still funny to see the need of some people to say that they don't "need" mechjeb to play, cranking their e-peen by playing bone stock. I'm playing since 0.8.5, long before MechJeb was born, and Since it's creation, posts like this one happen about once every six month. Always with the same arguments. This game is a sandbox, play it like YOU like it.
  3. I always use MechJeb, 1700+ hours of play time, so MJ is very usefull to execute long boring task like long burns or planning planetary transfer. I still do all my docking manually, too much fun there to let it to MJ. One of my 2 must have. The other is Alam Clock.
  4. I would love to have Electrical propellers. Some mods provide them, but having them stock would be a nice addition to the game. I would use them for ultra light atmospheric probes, or naval exploration on Laithe or Eve
  5. Jool since it's his own mini planetary system. Endless fun there with refueling missions and Science Labs.
  6. Yep, for me to it's the worst, random crashes. For me they tend to happen after long mission return (by long I mean few days), once I hit Recover vessel the game crashes some times. Or it happen after exiting time warping, when physics gets applied again. Beside that, the game is flawless. Would love to have some stock Eva activities like KAS mod gives.
  7. Ragers gonna rage, they'll eventually grow up and understand how to communicate in a manner to be respected instead of ignored. I've stop reading after the 1st paragraph.
  8. I'm not playing without Mechjeb. All others mods I can live without.
  9. We are only moving along with it, like a feather in the wind.
  10. I've seen in a documentary that you need to "live" in the Dimension above to be able to notice the dimension below. Exemple, to be able to see the 1st dimension, you need to live in the 2nd, 1st Dimension is a line, to be able to see it you need to move, if not all you'd see would be a dot. By adding the 2nd dimension you could "move" in and other axis then see the line of the 1st dimension. Same goes until the 4th, which is the dimension we're living in. The 4th dimension allows us to move and behold the first 3 dimensions, that we interpret as the world we see. We can't see the 4th dimension, but we feel it, we feel it as the time passing by, it's this Time that allows us to navigate in the 3rd dimension. Remove the 4th dimension and the 3rd dimension wouldnt be visible since we would loose the sense of depth therefore see the world as a 2 dimensional picture. The 4th dimension turns your picture into a movie 4th Dimension is another Axis, perceived by us as Time. Being from the 5th Dimension might look at a 4D object and think It's a small sphere on their table, but for us it's our whole Universe (MIB style) So we're surfing on the world's 4th dimension, but that's only what we see. There would be a total of 11 dimensions (Maybe more)... but all the dimension above the 4th are meaningless for our day to day live.
  11. Some time ago, I went to Mun, but missed some fuel for the trip back. Jeb had to exit the capsule and push it with his suit RCS.
  12. I Think it would be a marvelous addition, I like to fly rockets by my self, but once the testing phase is done, I like to automate the launch.
  13. Yep, still around this game has so much evolved since I've starded with 0.8.5. No time warp, no saving, no manoeuver nodes, no planes, no EVA, no IVA, no Rovers. But still, lot of fun learning the basics.
  14. It would be nice to describe what does Unity 5 will give to the game compared to Unity 4? 64bits? Multi-Threading? Am I wrong? Is there something else? Thanks.
  15. My Grand Tour, where on the same mission I visited every body of Kerbol`s system with 1 ship 1 lander and 7 probes. Stock + MJ Logbook: (In french) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lM_h0191rQEmh64iJFZz241bZJady4u1ykbuChBxGKc/edit?usp=sharing
  16. I'd like to think that we would be using some kind of black hole starship with stasis chambers for the long trip. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hole_starship If our civilization survives her industrial era I think it's reasonable to think we should harness the technology do use such a drive at some point.
  17. The ressource system is a big new feature in my opinion. The new atmosphere dynamic is quite big also. 1.1 will have lots of big stuff aswell, 64bit, new and more efficient UI, new Orbit UI, new wheel dynamics (Traction control, new surface detections). We'll have a lot of stuff to play with. And the next update after 1.1 risk to come up quickly since there will surlet have some bugs or adjustments to do after such a big updates, Communication System may be part of those semi-minor updates.
  18. This post made my day! Thanks for sharing, very touching!
  19. All my crewed mission must bring back the crew. If they end up stranded some where they can be assured that a rescue mission will come for them, where ever they are! (No kerbal has ever walked on Eve since I'm playing this play style)
  23. When batteries explodes due to overheating for no apparent reason...
