The Universal Surface Base - A Lowne Aerospace Product
B1778 replied to Matt Lowne's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I'm thinking that this might make a good Mohole base too with some minor adjustment.- 83 replies

It is the base and launcher. The rocket is part of the provided craftfiles, just choose the right one based off of your destination.- 83 replies

Voyager 2 Mission (Interstellar part would be do-able)
B1778 replied to Dr. Kerbal's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Technically you can get a probe outside of Kerbol's SOI, even in stock by using a Jool assist. I have just launched such a probe for fun (on SLS replica using ReDirect parts, but could do it with stock parts), except it is still in the SOI at Apoapsis. There is no advantage I know of to do that beyond your own imagination. -

Dres doesn't exist. How would you fill the void?
B1778 replied to wpetula's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Dres is merely the name for asteroid belt. The KSC doesn't want you to know the truth, so they land elsewhere, or use CGI! -
Thanks. I thought initially that my PC might have a virus. I actually like the cats though.

The Universal Surface Base - A Lowne Aerospace Product
B1778 replied to Matt Lowne's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Nice base, going to test it on Minmus, then Duna. I'll update this post with my results when finished. Edit: on way to Minmus, please check your staging for the nuclear engines so that all of them are used. I've just landed on Minmus. When deploying the rover, put all wheels on the ramp before lowering it (on the flats).- 83 replies
