  1. friction force is coefficient of friction multiplied by the normal force. (Fk=Uk M g) . So if coefficient of friction remains the same on another body (if the materials are similar like a certain type of rock), but the gravity is lower, then the normal force will be lower and hence the friction force will be lower. Normal force is gravity multiplied by mass and acts normal to the surface (perpendicular to the surface). So on a slope the normal force will be gravity multiplied by mass multiplied by the Cosine of the angle of the slope. Fk=Uk M g Cos (Theta). So smaller gravity means slippery slopes especially when the gravity is very small like some moons in Kerbin system.
  2. how do you move the cross hair? in the picture it is on the centre of kerbin but my one will only appear on the current vessel? Ideally I need it on kerbol so i can actually line up the transfer windows
  3. I was talking about docking alignment display but thanks @Sade has pointed out that I am blind and did not see the reveal box on the opening thread thanks for clearing it up for me
  4. Is there any documentation for this mod? I have used it but was not really sure what all the abbreviations are so I struggled to get to grips with it. I assumed TVEL is target velocity but is that a relative velocity or a velocity in one axis? Great if there was an explanation somewhere.
  5. .DDS files do not load so I just populated with my own pictures for the load screen. Is there a way to stop the pictures repeating? I have about 50 images but some still come up twice especially the logo? Also is there any way of changing the splash screen once KSP loads? Removing the logo files had no effect so I assume its in the compiled file?
  6. Im having an issue connecting the boosters to the decouplers on titan. The SRMU decoupler and the ULxx decouplers have a node on the side and the boosters all have a matching node but they do not attach. There is a downward facing node at the top of the decouplers which I can hang the boosters from then use the alignment tool to drag the boosters back outwards but Im sure this is not the way.
