  1. It looks like A/B have shown location where you were assembling the craft in the past, so I'm not sure why they were blocked out in the latest video. Maybe they were testing with a spoiler-y location?
  2. perhaps to power spacecraft in far flung orbits around kerbol and other stars (specifically for your radiation exposure limit regulartors)? I think the issue with this, and what Nate was trying to get at, is that spacecraft in far-flung solar orbits wouldn't be able to efficiently generate power with large, procedural solar panels, even if they were available. For example, in the real solar system solar cells can only collect about 40% as much power at Mars as they can at Earth, and Mars is only about 50% farther from the Sun than Earth is. By the time you get to Jupiter, which is about 5 times further from the Sun, solar cells can only collect about 4% as much energy as at Earth. So there probably isn't the same design need to create procedural solar panels as there is to create procedural radiators, since you'll need bigger and bigger radiators as the game progresses, but you're likely not as likely to use solar power beyond Duna, and certainly not on interstellar journeys. Some kind of nuclear power is much more likely.

That's almost certainly referring to a graph data structure, since it's a member of the flow management subsystem, which is "responsible for creating and caching the resource container groups and processing Flow Requests." A graph data structure basically contains a series of nodes (vertices) and the connections (edges) between them, which is pretty well-suited to simulating a series of fuel/resource containers and the tubes (or whatever) that allow resources to flow between them. You can illustrate it kinda like this: Using a graph is certainly how I would code it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here's Wikipedia article about it for further reading.
  4. It's really easy with Steam. Right-click on the game in your Steam Library, and select Properties. Then select Betas in the sidebar, and the beta you want to opt into will be a previous version of the game. As long as you're not trying to play pre-1.0 versions, you should find a version that matches the 1.x release your mods need.
  5. They've had rating pending on the announcement trailer, every feature video, and every show and tell highlights video posted to YouTube as well, at least on the versions posted to the Kerbal Space Program channel.

  7. Won't be my first launch of course, but my first major goal will be to get to establishing a colony on Minmus. I'm so excited for stock extraplanetary launchpads!
  8. Rating Pending was displayed in the first few seconds of the cinematic announce trailer, too, so only the fact that it's in a Show and Tell is really new. I'm not sure how much that really tells us.
  9. Oooh yes I didn't notice those before in the dev diary! Definitely could be parallel/anti-parallel. But possibly could also be just regular target/anti-target. Maybe it's contextual? Also, there are three items in the right orientation controller segment, which seems odd to me. Shouldn't it be even, with pairs of direction/anti-direction?
  10. As far as I can tell it dates back to at least PAX West 2019, so well over a year old.
  11. I'm really curious to see what indicators they add while doing docking maneuvers, or if they add parallel/anti-parallel attitude modes. We definitely need more granular readouts in stock as to relative orientation and position to a targeted docking port.

You can actually get a pretty good sense for how starlight would appear to the human eye based on how incandescent bulbs, candles, or a campfire appear, since the spectra of both are basically a blackbody, and the physiology of the eye responds the same. And since the coolest red dwarfs normally have surface temperatures no greater than 2300 K and the warmest no more than about 3700 K (See this, looking at SpT of M0.5V through M9.5V for red dwarfs), most red dwarfs wouldn't actually look that red to the naked eye; it would look more orange than anything. For reference, a candle's effective color temperature is in the 1500-2000 K range and regular incandescent bulbs are generally less than 3500 K (filaments are mostly made with tungsten, and tungsten's melting point is around 3600 K).
