    They used to, but COVID caused a shortage of spare tank treads and other maintenance products, so they've mostly stopped. Why are shovels the preferred method of removing snow from walkways, when we could be using flamethrowers?

    I think they already confirmed it's coming out in fiscal year 2023. My personal guess as far as advertising/release date goes is that things will continue roughly as they are now (maybe we get a new feature video in the meantime) until about February, at which point KSP 2 will appear at PAX East (or whichever convention happens around that time) with a new gameplay trailer, and likely a more precise release date--I'm also guessing summer or fall.

    Plus, icy bodies are somewhat well-known in the public eye. I haven't ever heard of ceramic planets, so it does add a bit more variety to the types of bodies one would encounter.

    I thought that was just an example they came up with to illustrate their point, and the shots were of different random planets. Who knows, though. I am excited to see Eve, whenever they do that!
