Hey everyone! This is just a formatting thing, and nothing about the release of KSP2 has changed! We will still be releasing on Feb 24th, 2023.

We are looking into a new forum update, but it unfortunately requires some coding work to be done, and the PD IT department is overwhelmed at the moment, so we don't have an ETA yet, but it is something we are looking into!

Sorry, I'm out of office until after the New Year! We are not putting out a new trailer for Christmas or New Year.
-
Usually towards the end of the month, yes! Sometimes that's a Friday, sometimes it's not. However December will be different then previous months.

They are actually all randomly generated! Any resemblance to real life people is purely coincidental. I do look forward to more instances of "Hey this random kerbal looks like me!"

Yes! <3 <3 <3

Hello! Just to clarify, while we are showing some new Kerbals that you may come across KSP2, Jeb, Val, Bill, Bob, and Tim C. will return in KSP2 as well!

KSP2 REALLY will be launched on older consoles?
Ghostii_Space replied to Dragorans's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
KSP2 is a complex game and we believe that to provide the best possible console experience for our players it requires the latest consoles hardware. So we will only currently be releasing on PS5 and Xbox X|S for the console versions.- 6 replies

Developer Insights #16 - Kerbal Community Program

All good! Unfortunately I cannot answer any of these questions!! You'll just have to wait for KSP2 to come to your own conclusions about them -
Developer Insights #16 - Kerbal Community Program

We review suggestions and feedback from the community (including modders) regularly, and have been engaged in varying capacities with members of the community throughout development! During Early Access we highly encourage players to provide feedback. Generally, yes, KSP 1 engagement is one piece of information our design team has available in thinking about cool features. Nope, can't say anything! Other than it will be awesome so your patience will be worth it We cannot directly answer this question right now, because game development is constantly changing. I can say we plan to introduce a lot of new features over the course of Early Access and we hope you provide us your feedback as we introduce them! Yes! We will continue to put out dev diaries/show and tell/teasers of new updates during Early Access.- 62 replies

Developer Insights #16 - Kerbal Community Program
Ghostii_Space replied to Intercept Games's topic in Dev Diaries
Hahaha thanks! Seattle is usually cold, but we had a very hot summer this year, up through October. It only recently started to get super cold, and it snowed yesterday?? Weather is wack. I'll definitely ask to have tortilla soup next time. -
Developer Insights #16 - Kerbal Community Program
Ghostii_Space replied to Intercept Games's topic in Dev Diaries
I think the main reason behind this community being one of the best is because of the game itself. The game encourages you to try, fail, and try again. Players here feel comfortable asking the community for help and advice on their crafts or mods, and the community (usually) responds with positive, thoughtful advice. You don't see that in large gaming communities very often. For most gamers, its very normal to behave toxically and look down upon players who don't have the same knowledge/skill that you do. Another big part of this equation is the content creators and influencers that create media about KSP. They focus on helping players achieve goals, or just enjoy the shenanigans of the game. One of our artists, Rafael, designed it for me! You can check out his Instagram here: Rafael González (@rafaelgonzalezmx) • Instagram photos and videos *posted for Ryaja* Oh wow a new page! Much wow, very page, such new.- 62 replies

Developer Insights #16 - Kerbal Community Program
Ghostii_Space replied to Intercept Games's topic in Dev Diaries
Thank you! I love making them, it is lot of fun. It depends on the idea, and how much perceived work it would be to implement. I have a list I keep of ideas I get suggested to us on social, and bring it up when appropriate. Right now the big push is to get ready for Early Access launch, so we're not adding a bunch of new features so that we can focus on bug squashing and polishing the existing features. Beyond that, we will probably have a regular review of feedback from players. Yes, the community team gathers feedback from all our social platforms to refer back to the devs. Spoilers Probably the chicken and wild rice? We haven't had a lot of soup, but now that its winter time I am looking forward to more opportunities. Personally my overall favorite soup is probably Tortilla soup.
