Can not confirm with Kopernicus and OPM installed.

Neither the missing button for auto-circularization, nor the Planetary-Spacial-Location-Display in the PAW.

Wonderful ... thanks for checking ... of course now I have to figure out which mod is making the warpdrive cranky.  :)

Whooo... One does NOT want to have a ship targeted if you intend to just auto-circularize the orbit.  That could be "exciting" under certain circumstances.  Is there a quick, easy to unset a target other than clicking on it and unsetting?

Well... at least for my game, previously launched ships do not have the issue.  All newly launched ships do have it - within an SOI, they can rendezvous at any distance.  I tried different SOI and I saved a ship at Jool, quit and restarted.  Still there.  I've also tried it in various games that have varying mods

It makes no sense.  How can previously launched ships not have the feature, but newly launched ones do?  Hopefully this weekend, I'll spend some time and find where the issue first manifests and test behaviors across upgrades.

If anyone else - @obnox twin @modus - could test this it would be awesome.  I'd like to know if it's a qwirk of my system.

In my limited testing I've found that both newly launched as well as "legacy" starships respect both SOI and distance limitations when utilizing the Auto-circularize function.  However.....

.... My original issue is still there ... namely that the Auto-circularize button doesn't re-appear after shutting down a warp engine.  In order to see it, I need to switch to a distant target and return to the hypership ... then it shows up.  Also, Auto-circularize is no longer an option for Action Sets ... it used to be... not sure if this is intentional or not.

@Angel-125 I can confirm that Blueshift 1.8.6 is not honoring minRendezvousDistancePlanetary.

For me, minRendezvousDistancePlanetary = 300000 and I was able to rendezvous with a target on the other side of Kerbin - 3000km away.  Don't see this as any pressing issue though.
From Kerbin orbit, I was able to rendezvous with a target in orbit of Jool.

Ok..now this is wierd.    This only manifests in my test save in sandbox mode.   Moar testing!

This issue exists for me in 1.8.5 and again only in sandbox mode and only with a specific ship that has the S-3 Star Frontiers engine.    @pjt36  what warp drive are you using?  Can you try this test against other warp engines?  This is looking like one of those KSP vaguarities.

Using the Mk2 "Starflight" Warp Core.

Also tested with the S-2 "Planet's Edge" Warp Core ... from the orbit of Minmus, was able to rendezvous with a target in the orbit of Jool.

Let me know if anyone gets the reference on the name of Jeb, Bill, and Bobs warp drive

1 equatorial radius of the body for warp cutoff.   600KM for Kerbin.  300KM for Vall.  If you use the warp drives a lot for autocircularization, a warp cutoff chart of the planets is a good thing.

Regarding the button for auto circularize, the throttle must be at zero for the button to be there.  You can't autocircularize while in warp.

Looks like there might be a bug in this release (1.8.6) with auto-circularize .... was fiddling with it and found I could jump to a target halfway across the system just by pushing that little button.

How close were you to the moon?

I think you have to be at a certain distance ( @Angel-125?)

Not precisely certain the distance, but the drive was working, and the button did eventually appear after the target switch workaround.  ....   so, my assumption would be that it would normally appear as soon as the drive is shut down. ... (Unless there's something I'm missing) :)

Not really sure what you mean. Do you see the button when you come out of warp/have zero thrust?
You can only use the button when you're not actually warping.

    Apologies ...

      As an example ...

Activated the engine, and the button disappeared. Used the drive to warp to a distant moon, after arriving in the moons sphere of influence, set throttle to zero and shut down warp engine, but the Auto-circularize button did not re-appear.  (should it?) ... switched to a distant target and switched back to the ship, the button is there again and Auto-circularize works as normal.  ... does this help?

  7. Great mod A ... one small issue I've run into with the current release ... the Auto-circularize button on the disappears when you actually use the drive ... a workaround to get it back is to switch to a far away target and switch back ... but it is a bit of a kludge.  Another thing, which may or may not be related is that Auto-circularize is no longer an option for the drive when defining Action Sets.

  8. How does one reduce the "Loop Temperature" to be something below the atmospheric ambient temperature.

I've searched but cannot find an answer.

In this situation, a modification (Galaxies Unbound) adds a planet (Syro) where the ambient temperature is 1044K ... this presents some unique challenges as for example an Engineer can only work outside for about 2 minutes before exploding. ... Another issue is that a surface harvester which has an ideal working temperature of 500K goes into emergency shutdown when you try to start it on Syro.  How do I cool this device to be something near its proper working temperature? ... Is this even possible?
