  1. Hello! I'm quite new to ksp modding and have gotten a few mods to run whithout any problems, but I'm having a lot of trouble with getting E.V.E to work properly. I have tried installing it with CKAN, I have tried installing it manualy and I have tried installling it with different texture files, but no matter what I do, I get the same "no config! please add a config with the contents of "EVE clouds{}" to populate" message! I have checked that the config file it mentions is available in the Game Data folder, but it seems like it's unable to detect it. Before anyone asks, yes i have tried installing the mods with a fresh version of ksp.
  2. I herby submit my entry: the SS Thunderbolt Takeoff! Folowing a somewhat chaotic ascent to the crusing altitude of 12 000m, the SS thunderbolt contined its voyage without any major problems, only requiering intermitent yaw adjustments to stay on course. Quickly descending to the KSC. The hard landing unfortunetly broke of the lower battery pods, as any landing gear had been omitted in order to reduce weight. It flew non stop with solar power as the only means of electricity production and for the most part kept a crusing speed of 185-212 m/s, largely enabled by some fairing tricks, hiding the main envelope from drag. Almost the entire flight was done with twelve times timewarp enabled as I didn't fancy sitting behind my computer for 5 hours. More images can be found here: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  3. I'm concidering doing an airship circumnavigation, but I have some questions first. if one is using the heisenberg airships mod, is one allowed to use the electric engines wich said mod provides? If not, are electric engines from Kerbal Aircraft Expansion(KAX) ok? also, where can i find the leaderboard, I can't see it anywere in the thread?
  4. this file? BTW . I have tried installing the configs from astronomers visual pack, but to no avail.
  5. I present my replica of Explorer 1, the first satalite launched by the U.S. mods used are Restock and Restock+ The satelite itself. I wouldv'e liked for it to be a narrower like the real thing, but this was the best I could do. the asembled "high speed stages", notice the layerd clustering of SRBs. The completed rocket with the Juno 1 booster in the VAB. A few shots of the flight: the finished probe, containing "thermal measuring ecuipment"( a 2HOT thermometer), just like the real thing.
  6. I have noww tried installing scatter per your instructions, but sadly it doesn't seem to sovle the problem. I'm still getting the same messeges and now the oceans are messed up too. it seems like scatterer is missing the texture for the ocean surface, as I can still see the reflections.
