As soon as I get my account back, Eagle update pack is being uploaded! My store account was hacked (ironically had the same password as the forum, but I guess they never tried that..) So right now I am only testing on KSP old version, working fine on that but as per usual need the latest version to test on, which I will do once they fix my account. -

They got back to me and I found out my store account was hacked. @padishar, pitchforks never come out here, for $10 I think I got my money's worth! It was more the sinking feeling someone had my personal Details. Luckily that credit card expired some time ago! everyone else, make sure you change your store password often. In 20 odd years I've never ever been hacked, had an account hacked or an account stolen until now. -

Hi Guys, For some reason after 4 years my email is no longer connected to the store account, won't let me login or download the game obviously. I have sent an email to support with my original Invoice ID etc, but still no reply, thought I'd try here. thanks for your time D.

If the DYJ gattling mod still works its easy, that's if it still works pretty much make anything a gun with that! As for the ships.. ARGH! days of pulling hair out getting them to fly again properly and even then - they don't. I am going to have to totally re-do them from the ground up,so it will only be a few ships really. The Oblivion bubbleship does actually work - you can't build it but you can load the saved ship thats in the current package and it will fly, just need to use normal RCS and fiddle with the stabilizers on/off to get it steady but it does work. I think tho really, for the actual 'fit the game' type ship, I think I will do the Eagle again. I have a new PC so need to get unity installed again and a few other things but should be cool to go soon. I just hope I can find all my old blender files! -

Well, I think to cut my teeth again I will get the Oblivion Bubble ship working again and updated, that was really a bucket list item for me and I never really got the chance to pilot it for an extended period of time, it really is a smooth ship once it is set up well. The Eagle will be the next, then Pegasus and really, that will do me for updates for now, I would like to work on the Silent Running domes some more. -

ahha Voidryder, Odyessy, Ultravires.. good to see some familiar faces still around! @ Logan.. Ok now you have me interested again ... that is a damn near perfect IVA for the eagle. Well, I'm getting unity all back up and running for KSP (I think I was a few versions ahead when I eventually got into making my own games in it) The Eagle is probably the best one to get back into, I know the balance pretty well now and considering I re-worked it over so many versions of KSP I am hoping it will be an easy upgrade to the new version. Did they tone down the Aero a little? I remember last time I played they stuffed around with the physics quite substantially. Wow that TB2 is nice! I sort of gave up because I was trying to do it like the show, having it raise and lower on top of the cargo bay - it just was so hard to make that happen (the pod would always detatch and be left behind, too big and heavy for couplers) Do you remember the TB launchpad I made? I wonder if we could mix the two together... hmm brain ticking now... -

Thanks guys, I will take your advice. ...wow.. Logie! Holy crap that Mad Max video is just the most insane thing I have ever seen done.. but I am struggling to figure out how he made that in KSP? that looks like a serious amount of mods... and to have all those cars driving... wow.. I either missed a hell of alot during my break or that guy is more talented than I thought! Are the dust trails and things standard now? I need to download the latest version.. man ive missed so much. -

Hey Guys, long time no pee. Personal things took a toll on pretty much all my free time plus three kids also keeps you pretty busy. I was going to get my mod site back up and running, and discovered that in the few weeks my site was not registered, someone went and registered waylandmods.com under another provider.. LOL.. Not sure who registered it, not sure why and to be honest don't really care all that much I expect they want me to offer them some money to buy it off them, but the chances of that are about the same as say... Miley Cyrus doing something useful. So... The question I have is if I was going to upload my mods to one of the many repositories there now are, what's the best one? or at least the most reliable? -

The Pegasus is flying really weird at the moment. I sort of have it working... I have taken a pretty long break from the game (long enough to miss playing it anyway...) I saw they had released v1.0 and thought I would check it out, it seems reasonably stable. My issue is all my ships are so stupidly sci fi, it appears they have really made the physics a little less forgiving than they used to be, or there is a new way to get around the things that stop the fun ships. I got the bubbleship and the drone working for the new version... but somethings just not right. The bubbleship seems to lose its aerodynamics a lot easier now, much like the pegasus does.. so basically I am trying to figure out why now, going through all the old unity files and seeing if things need to be re-exported instead of just config file fixed. The WT-51 should be pretty straight forward, there are no real aerodynamics to speak of, its a brick with engines.. I haven't tried it yet but I see no reason it shouldn't be a relatively easy conversion to the new KSP. -

Hi Guys.. My hosting account was suspended because spammers were sending out so much spam mail from the forums that my hosting provider shut it down while we get it fixed. A very long story short, PHPBB sucks to high heaven. It is the most hackable and unsecure forum system I've seen.. it used to be semi-ok but now it's a complete joke. I have not had the account unsuspended yet because I am still setting up the new forums. The account isnt suspended, access to the sites is, so I still have backend control. I just havent emailed them yet to say it's all fixed. I am working full time at the moment and just had the christmas period, so have been literally flat out but that is calming down now. I Really want to get to work on some new mods, I get so bogged down fixing old ones it takes a bit of the fun out of it all to be completely honest. When I'm making something new I tend to get more excited about it. I have so many unfinished and unreleased ships it is rediculous. Some good ideas, some half brained stupid things. The first mod I ever said I was working on back in.. ergh, 2011 now? was the Sulaco... and I still want to get that b*stard finished off. I don't care if no one uses it or likes it LOL... but I want to finish this thing. I have become such a better modeller thanks to KSP and even the Sulaco has been improved upon and improved upon many times over the years now, probably more hours put into that than any mod i've made - but it still might be a while. I really don't know what do make next to be honest, I did the drone and bubble ship and that drained me a bit, mainly because they were such a pain to make aerodynamic and fly like the movie, ie the gimbal in the Bubbleship took days to model, boolean operation after boolean operation... cutting cylinders out of spheres etc... ergh. But.. end result was pretty close to the movie so was happy with that one. So.. any great suggestions? any ships you think could be made relatively easily or would serve a decent purpose to KSP? the LackLuster cargo bays were a perfect fit for the Eagle, so thats why I never finished my ones, his are excellent. -

hahaha We sound alot alike mate, if you are even in Aussie land, hit me up for a beer! man.. it's like... everytime I look at the spaceport overview... I see these lovely buildings that look up to date.. but they are on a planet that looks like it came from a Sega Saturn game.. No vegetation... no life.. The Kerbals are the absolutely only source of any life anywhere in their universe, and for a space game .. it's a bit weird. I don't know if it's a religious thing or not, but yeah.. the Kerbals need something introduced... I think that's it. ... all ships on hold. Time for some freakin Aliens. -

If you are looking at the front of the craft, the hatch is on the left, a reasonable way out form the opening bubble door. I sort of had to make it at that distance so the door would not give the 'Hatch blocked" message - but I did make it a very large hatch, you should really be able to stand on the ground next to the craft - OR with a command chair inside you should be close enough to right click and hop in the chair. -

The first time I watched Oblivion, I didn't pay alot of attention and it didn't really wow me that much. I then saw it again on Blu-ray.. (paid attention the second time) and yeah, it actually is a half decent movie (I mean cmon, it's got Morgan freeman in it!) Glad you are enjoying the craft - I have managed to get my bubbleship to every planet on a system-wide trip, after 178 years they might be heading home this evening for me I have to confess. I have never ever played Career mode. Ever. I have absolutely no idea what the tech tree does nor have I attempted yet to incorporate it into the mods I make (but like everything else is probably just a small config edit...) my 2cents... They needed to do ALOT of other things before even considering this career mode.. it's like they stopped game development at %30 and decided to start working on the fluff. I have been playing KSP for some time, since around 0.10 and we had the sandbox , and that was it. I fell in love with the sandbox because of the freedom it gave me in flying my own ships. But I don't really seem to have much inclination to explore the career aspect of the game simply because there is still so many other things that I think needed to be done. In all this time besides the few easter eggs, there has been not alot of reason to actually visit any planets unless you have kethane or you create your own reason for going there. I want to find an alien species or something - but I know that's never going to happen. -

Ok.. Drone has been re-tested and its ok to download... I suggest just loading the saved craft and putting it in your sub assembly. -

Sure, i'll put it on curse. **Edit.. Ok has now been updated on Curse - check the 'Files' Tab. I should also mention the drone at full speed will take the hangar down in one good solid impact, so yes it doubles as a controllable drone missile. -
That's good then, it sounds pretty cool. I have steered away from the reviews, I don't think in my life there has ever been many reviews I actually agree with I wish everyone would stop being so concerned with the realism, are you not desensitized by now? I think after movies like Armageddon, we are sort of used to the all-american guy (who's never been into space let alone had any training at all..) and goes up in a shuttle and saves the world.
