Just a quick question: does a space station built for a contract become unusable?

Matpat is a youtuber, along with his team, who makes theorieson videogames and other stuff. F.e. One of his videos was, when he calculated, that the moons in Super Mario Odyssey were the pieces of the actual moon, since it was within Roche limit. So. After 10 years of producing amazing content he is retiring, and announced, that he is goin to do 10 more videos. Sure, his team will continue making videos, but it will never be the same… So i just wanted him to cover KSP.

I would love to see Mat do a Game theory on KsP. We know, that KSP has some kind of lore, so this should be possible! There are over 100k people in this forum, so even if 5% of them write a KSP comment, we will be seen. My suggestion: When MatPat releases next Game Theory video, we go, and comment something about wanting a ksp game theory. Also we like as many KSP realted posts, as we can, so we can make it to the top! If you will participate, just like this post, so i know, how many people are with me, and if you have any suggestions, just comment. BTW - i would love a KSP game theory, but also kinda scared what Mat is gonna come up with - he’s know for ruining chuldhoods!:)

My kerbals decided to make a rocket building competition. The rules were, that only one person could work on the rocket. Bob got 3rd place, and won 50000 kerbucks. Bill got 2 place and won 100000 kerbucks and even started a privat space program with that money! And Jeb beat all of them, and won 200000 kerbucks and a brand new jet! Also with that money he created a startup for people, who seek extreme emotions and dangerous adventures! Try and right click the part that is not working, and try and find the lock/unlock button. Do that in the vab and try again. I also had problems getting into KSP robotics.

Update: sprry, just read messages above, mine is incorrect and unnecessary. I did not account for time warp. With that, it should be possible.

I do not believe that this challenge is doable. But that’s my opinion - KSP players have done some incredible things. But here are my calculations: Song length: 7:09=429 seconds Duna’s (smallest atmospheric planet) length of equator is about 2010 km. So you will need to go about 4.6 km/s, which concidering that duna’s escape velocity is only about 1300 will be really difficult. On kerbin it would have been 8km/s, which i think is straight up impossible because of atmospheric heating. But the song is cool!

Homestly, i’m no expert on programming and stuff, but i’m not sure that even older versions of ksp could or should be successfully played in your browser. But that would have been really cool.
