If you look at GameData > Squad > zDeprecated > Parts > Command, you can see the old MK1-2 pods' files. You can also find the other removed parts there.

No, i meant that you can control it like a rocket, sort of. It doesn't have a connection with KSP, or a probe, so all you can really do is open cheats and do something there, for example setting an orbit around Kerbin (what i did before reverting to launch).

(I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this) If you have a rocket and get close to an asteroid and crash into it (in this case i first targeted the Center of Mass) and revert to Launch, you can control the Asteroid. I could make a video, but i couldn't get it working again. This shouldn't be affected by my mods, since most of them are parts. (Excluding MechJeb2)
