  4. The interplanetary freighter Nozomi Maru arrived with the first Modular Interplanetary Kolonization Units for Akagi Base on Duna, along with two wheeled mining vehicles designed to refuel landers with KIS fuel pipes. WiM-11 miner and Akagi Base (no Kerbals yet) There was an issue with landing the WiM-12 miner on Iwaki Base (already with 6 Kerbals) on Ike: the skycrane had its engines too close, so it didn't produce any thrust. So the already-established WiM-8 miner/tanker was used as a mega-skycrane. After one of the wheels was repaired, WiM-12 drove to Iwaki Base.
  5. Mission 164: Nozomi Maru flight 02 (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) Landing two Modular Interplanetary Kolonization Units on Duna, and a wheeled mining vehicle for Duna and Ike. 17. Developed a new launcher (Kappa-2) to carry several base modules in one go. 7.5 diameter, capable of over 100 tonnes to LKO with (almost) full reusability. (SpaceY + SpaceY Expanded) Rendezvous with my interplanetary freighter, Nozomi Maru (shuttling between Kerbin and the Duna system). The modules are then docked one at a time. Both stages are reusable (but the inflatable heat shield is disposed when it lands) Heading for Duna

Mass: 56114 kg (total) Launch vehicle: Kappa-2 The Kappa-2 launcher (7.5 m diameter) was developed to launch multiple surface base modules at the same time. It has a maximum capacity of over 100 tonnes to LKO, and is (almost) fully reusable. (SpaceY + SpaceY Expanded) A big stack Mission 164: Nozomi Maru flight 02 (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) Y39, D417 (Kerbin departure) Y40, D195 (Estimated Duna arrival) The second trip of an interplanetary freighter

  21. With a countdown voiced by none other than the virtual singer, Hatsune Miku Countdown begins at 1:39:00, launch at 1:44:00 I bet this won't get as much attention as the last time they tried to launch it, and it crashed only a few seconds after takeoff.
  22. Topaz-2 is two clusters of probes (orbiters and landers), which were docked to the front and back of the WiM-10 mining vehicle. Together, they headed for Sarnus (Outer Planets Mod) in a burn that took 29 minutes (7 minutes with 4x physics warp)
  23. Mission 161: WiM-10 A miner (identical to WiM-9) being pre-emptively sent to Sarnus. Mass: 40005 kg (at launch), 126305 kg (full) Launch vehicle: Kappa-1b Y39, D39 (launch) Being partially fueled by the WiM-6 Minmus miner Mission 162: Topaz-2 (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4) The director of KASDA got tired of launching probes to the outer planets one at a time. So a series of landers and orbiters was launched all at once, for each of Sarnus's moons (Hale, Ovok, Eeloo, Slate, and Tekto). They would dock to WiM-10, which would act as the transfer stage. The first destination is Ovok; afterwards, the assembly will transfer to the other moons. Mass: 22875 kg (total at launch) Launch vehicle: Kappa-1b Y39, D220 (launch) Y39, D227 (Kerbin departure) Y44, D288 (Sarnus orbit insertion) Y44, D290 (Ovok orbit insertion) Cluster of probes meeting WiM-10

Mission 160: Project DIVA F 2nd / Negi Maru flight 02 (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9) Designing Interplanetary Vehicle Architecture with Fission propulsion, 2nd mission. Jool 5 expedition with 8 Kerbals. Mass before departure burn: 342923 kg Y38, D312 (departure) Y40, D55 (estimated Jool orbit insertion with Tylo gravity assist) Y40, D85 (estimated Pol orbit insertion)
