  1. So, here's a scene i'm working on. Kerbal subway station? maybe?
  2. Wow, the pig is look better than before. Also, judging by the specular on the wood, i'm going to guess it's polished. If you want to add another bit of realism to the scene, give the wood some reflection. about a factor of 0.25-0.1 and a gloss factor of about 0.9 That should work pretty well for a start
  3. If i could afford it, yes. Unless of course you're going to challenge my cans. ('m still winning technically)
  4. I like the ball you made. this one Also, i just went to the blenderartists forum... It's like walking into a community of raredens,,,,
  5. Well yeah. but this would be. probably the simplest way to get it started, at least until you could get a site up to do it automatically. PS: i live in america, i can make get them printed and shipped if necessary.
  6. I don't know,,, you look kind of familiar... Maybe a 5/10
  7. EDIT: accidentally hit "quote" ignore the quote.... So. From what I've gathered so far, the current topic is... Selling prints, right? Well, to ship one print from the US to new Zealand, it would cost me between 40-70 USD. That being said, it would probably be easier to send the print files to someone in 'MURICA, and have them printed in full color quality, and shipped locally (saving BUTT TONS of cash.) Let's say you wanted to sell a full sized (8.5 IN. x 11 IN.) Munbug print for 10 dollars. You'd probably use a standard document envelope, a 50 cent stamp, and be done with it. so, total cost to ship so far: about 1.50$- 2.00$ (give or take) the person shipping the prints would get say, 1$ per print. (or whatever the rate would be) 3.00$ cost SQUAD get's about... let's say 3$ per prints (for the kerbal copyright and whatnot) That leaves the original artist 4$ USD or about 5 New Zealand dollars (yes, i actually checked, it's about 4.87 NZDs) And now the biggest question. Will Squad accept such a deal? Also, still waiting for you to challenge my cans...
  8. That's looking pretty darn good! how's the railway mod coming along BTW? You can post ANYTHING that's made in 3D, even if it's a cube, or a box, or a rectangular prism with equal edge lenses.
  9. Well, for the pants i can see that i would need them. But for the Coat thing, that's metal. so it's reflective (you can't tell because it's an empty scene) And sorry, but i can't get on my computer that has those files, so it's going to stay like that for the next... 12 hours. That looks pretty Freaking awesome! Even the motion blur was good! Also, here's something I've been working on while trying to go to sleep at night. _______________________________________________________________ Well, this would normally be the end of my post, but i have something i'd like to say. Sometimes, i'd browse through this thread, and silently admire people's work, which is one of the reasons this thread only has 230 some posts. So this portion of this posted will be dedicated to the posts that didn't get any response. Deadweasel: That's a pretty nice looking Mini Spaceplane thingy. You should make an animation of it in flight. blubbermonkeys: That's a pretty good scene! So, is it in some kind of dollhouse? Nutt007: Nice sound to animation. Is it manual, or are you using a script to do that? and last, but not least. tygoo7: that's a pretty neat looking pig, What are you planning to use it for? ________________________________________________________ These are just some, of the many posts to this thread that have gone ignored (or silently admired) So please, take a moment, and look at some of the artwork (and maybe give them some Rep for it, if it's really good)
  10. So, I've been working hard on some things (no, they aren't cans or balls) Here's one of the Characters. Also, Guess the Vert count. EDIT: By the way, this is in an empty layer, with environmental lighting and AO turned up to max, so the lighting here looks like crap
  11. But.. I was Planning a video with the kraken.... Darnit... Also, you have not challenged my cans. Therefore, I think i won....
  12. Well, the renders get posted here first.... If we need to be more active.... I could help. Here's some Human-type architecture, but with the kerbal wall panel design.
  13. Well, here's a Can i made. the texture for the label i got from the 'fan art' album on the KSP facebook page.
  14. Because, if i cannot create an awesome simple thing, how do i create an awesome complex thing?
  15. Oh that's it. The gloves are coming off. By the way, make sure to examine every detail, this took me 40 minutes to render...
  16. That looks really good! Bit of advice, you can select specific groups of faces, and set them to smooth shading (like for that sphere thingy at the bottom) Yes, you guys should start working on that... Immediately (or not, i'm a animator, not a cop) Oh, also. I re-rendered the ball. it looks much better
  17. Hey, if you want, you could use nodes to mix a transparent shader, and a reflective shader; so you could have a Kerbal's face underneath it.
  18. Oh, I Re-rendered my ball, it looks SO much better now.
  19. Ah, is it for a kerbal, or for a human? Also, here is this ball i made in blender. 23 minutes to render it. After about 2 hours of work too....
  20. So... do you have picks to prove it works? EDIT: just so this doesn't seem like a pointless revival, Hey rareden! check out this ball i made!
  21. My gosh the forums have been dead recently.... All you guys are still alive.. right? Anyway, i didn't want this thread to get lost to the third page.
