I had to overachieve just a little. My first flag was on Laythe.
-
Alright, I just signed up to this as well. Just gotta wait while my laptop chews on the roughly 5 gigabyte download involved. It appears to be a MMOFPS, with up to 32 people per map. So it'll probably handle similarly to TF2 and as such =shouldn't= eat up all of my free time like MMORPGs do.
-
Okay, MMOFPS with a 32 person per map limit. So this'll handle similarly to TF2, with a closed field full of people all shooting at me. ...yeah I think I can safely do this, FPS type games quickly become repetitive and thus don't eat up all my available time.
-
Wait, Warthunder is a MMO? Craaaap, there goes all my free time. Are you limited to a single plane though? Or does it let you keep an inventory of craft with customizations and the like from which you can choose what to be operating.
-
Wikipedia is nearly as dangerous. I go to look up one thing and next thing I know I've spent two hours going from article to article.
-
You guys all just wish that threads would reliably end around you. When I end a thread, it stays ended.
-
Are you guys trying to keep PFL from being written? You're selling Trekkette's soul to the devil of the time wasting abyss here. At this rate that teaser on deviantart will be all we ever get.
-
Yeah but from that height it'd probably be fatal in the event a chute fails to open unless a human diver catches the cat midair and holds it while deploying their own chute to land safely.
-
Wait, is this seriously some kind of experiment to confirm that cats will always land on their feet? I hope they at least have a remote control to deploy the parachutes, or a human diving with them to catch them midair if the equipment messes up.

The farm life was great. I had both Holsteins and Jerseys to raise, while the family kept a small herd for milk and heifer raising to sell to other dairy farms. Horses are fun too, although a great deal of work to keep in good health. I picked up riding fairly quickly, and could stay on top of some fairly spirited horses with a little effort. Bandito was the best, I was the first one to actually be able to ride him. Took me half an hour of him trying to toss me before he finally yielded and rode nicely, he never resisted again after that ride.

Welp, this thread has nearly covered all the essential topics now that we're talking about cats. I was raised with dogs, but I don't really care for either type.
-
How come you guys keep sacrificing people? You should launch rockets, and make ceremonial salutes with them before they plunge into the sun at impractical velocities made possible only by more boosters. Only then will the Kraken be appeased. Also best practice: If you feel a need to ask if something should be removed or not, you probably shouldn't post it at all. Make it disappear please, you have 5 minutes.
-
Yes. A post was twisted out of existance because of rule violations.

Woah. I try to take a day off of moderating to handle some unfinished business, and this thread explodes to life with everything from string theory to vintage aircraft. 4th dimension being time was theorized by Albert Einstein, if I am not mistaken the reasons for this related to a case of special relativity. 5th dimension is an amazing hairband from the 1980s, love that sound. Also do note that Snoopy was not stock. The stock Sopwith Camel could not catch the Fokker triplane, so the Canadian pilot flying Snoopy had his plane specifically modified to give him the tactical advantage for that battle. At the same time, the first time Baron Von Richtoffen got shot down he took a bit of a head wound, which in his second encounter with Snoopy had affected him to a point where he made a rookie mistake.

Postcards from Laythe - Cancelled indefinately

Keeping to the german theme though, you should almost call it Leftenet. I've heard it called that a few times when said by people with a german accent. Loving the teaser so far though. -
As an unofficial fansite there's nothing really wrong with it. I don't think it would really be used for any kind of official functionality though, as Squad has already established their preferred methods of doing that. Unfortunately the devs are busy fixing the problems with 0.20 right now, and as soon as the pending bugfix update gets out the door they'll get right back to work developing the next version. They probably won't appear there.
-
Granted. But now it has a 90% chance of a structural failure at 12km altitude because the lengthened fuel tank and more powerful engines can't quite handle the forces involved and breaks up. Fortunately Jeb has the pod rigged to self-destruct in the hopes of survival. I wish people would read the rules before posting.

Alright time out just a second. Pretty sure that video is questionable content as far as the forum's standards ago, and we really don't need a second thread of random derping when there's already a much more established one.

Definately. http://i.imgur.com/nOzp0Ry.png must become http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4dttmB6E61r8zw4eo1_400.gif for the sake of amazing humor.

It's been explained before that they just aren't necessarily okay with the beach scenes being here on the KSP forum. Several moderators did in fact vote for option #2 that would result in those scenes staying available if you noticed. -

Awesome, this'll finally get some story to go with these amazing pictures. -
You need to animate their heads like the often-reposted GIF involving Jackie Chan and a couple other guys riding a jeep.

Yeah but if you make a really strong magnetic field, you'd cause problems for ships passing through it. They'd have electronics malfunctions from the induced voltage, and could be disoriented by its effects on navigation equipment as well as inductive forces from moving through a strong magnetic field. The undersea approach seems to be the simplest to implement, and would work well on Laythe. You have a spaceport on the surface, which then leads into a tunnel into an undersea city for your habitation areas with the only surface structures being either spaceports, industrial complexes, or research stations. Magnents also work well for calling up lightning bolts upon those who break the rules. -
Okay I really needed brain bleach after that hula kerbal. Well played.

Note: Discussions of politics are strictly forbidden. I'm sorry, but I must ask you to google hypnotoad GIFs to mind control you into talking about pokemon or something unrelated instead.
