How to avoid... well... this.
Atimed replied to Daid's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The last few meters you have to tilt the craft little to retro-grade and return it straight back to 0°.. the slower the go the more easily it is to overshot.. requires some practice.. if u can also put a RCS on the ship and use RCS thrusters to negate the horizontal movement.. -

ŽIon based engines, but they still need some propellant to push the craft.. they cant just use electricity.. -
Open up a pack of beer... Cheers..

The margin of error is 20km, and with a landing radar with full RCS control it should hit the target..

How do you get your Spacestations Spaceborne?
Atimed replied to Audiopulse's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Depends on how heavy your station is, if its under 80t of payload u can get it up there easily with around 20'000l of fuel.. Max i got so far is 176t Unmoded.. Its a pain in the ... and it costs more nerves than its worth.. - General idea to save weight is to use TurboJet engines to get you out of the stratosphere.. I have a Med sized space station with 2 stage launcher if u wanna check out.. -
Got some PMs about how to fly this thing so i made a quick video.. Hope you like it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnjTyn9WZ_8&feature=youtu.be

Wait, don't know about you but i see a space station.. or some sort.. -
Hello fellow Kerbanaouts,Iv noticed lately that a lot of Kerbals around these forums are building some stations. So i thought lets give it a try.. How hard could it be.. So here i am 34 Dead Kerbals later, and a space full of junk.. The space station comes with a 2 Stage Launch Vehicle.. And while its in orbit it haz got ~ 3 tanks of RCS, and ~ 1500l of Rocket Fuel.. A large margin for maneuvering errors if you ask me.. And did i mention its all Stock Parts.. 8) Download:http://www32.zippyshare.com/v/20461929/file.html (If not working please PM me with your e-mail address, and i will send you the file) (Over 100 Downloads, Thx guys... ) Statistics:- Size: 11m x 13m x 14m - Mass: 26T - Fuel: 15'200 l - Crew: 3 - Engines: - 6x TurboJet - 1x LV-T30 - 3x LV-T45 - Full Advanced Stabilization Augmentation System.. - 6 Direction Reaction Control System.. - 3x LTV-40 High powered Vectoring Liquid fuel Engines.. - 2 Small Docking Bays.. - 12 8Kw Solar Panels.. - 3 Universal Research Labs.. - Sleeping Quarters.. - 100 m2 Storage Area.. - Shinny BIG RED button.. Screenshots: Preferred flight plan..- Start Jet Engines at Full Throttle.. - Wait till Full Throttle Established.. - Engine LVT-30 Liquid Fuel Engine - Fly Heading 0° until 1st Stage Empty (~18\'000 m at Mach 1) - Switch to Orbit Drawing on the Navigation Ball. - Start Orbital turn towards 90° Pro-grade.. - When AP Reaches ~46\'000 m Turn 90° Horizontal.. - Cut engines when AP ~ 100\'300 m.. - Cruise to T-30 til AP.. - Rotate ship Pro-Grade.. - Circularize orbit.. - Turn on the lights.. (Mobility Enhancers) - Flight back, Burn Retro-grade until PE ~ 5 km..- Enjoy the view until 50'000 m.. - Press the SHINNY BIG RED BUTTON and enjoy the view.. Known Bugs:- The 2 Fuel lines connecting the Station to the 2nd Stage seam to Malfunction 5% of the time.. - Manually resting them will fix the issue.. - Docking in Hard but possible my success rate is 15%, May spin the ship and/or eject it at ~ 50m/s.. Feedback is welcome..

Advice on how to avoid catastrophic wobble
Atimed replied to PTNLemay's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The rocket it self is unstable, the higher the engine stack the more wobble it will have.. - Not sure about moded parts but in stock it usually works to avoid stack higher than 4 tanks.. - To strut at least in 3x symmetry decouples to higher stages.. Because those are the weakest points in your rocket.. - Avoid thrust vectoring engines if possible.. - Test the rocket with some Winglets, they might make things Better but they might make it even worse.. Hope it helps.. -
Voyager....my ship for interplanetary travels
Atimed replied to stephen's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
- Big and bulky.. It could work for interplanetary travels.. Wana test it out Asap.. But i cant find the .craft file.. -
Hello fellow Kerbanauts.. While on my vacation i noticed interesting article in a local IT magazine.. Based on the file size and the article it self i assume that they reviewed version 0.13/0.14.. Translation: (Note Serbian is not my mother-language so there might be some errors...)-=KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM=- - A lot of us have in her childhood fantasied about becoming Astronauts. There are a lot of games or simulators on that subject, like Microsoft Space Simulator ili Apollo Simulator. Kerbal Space program is something in between. It's about designing a rocket with wich you explore the universe. - Game play is fun and simple. The Controls are reduced to a minimum. Controlling the Phases (Stages) is done in the editor (VAB), in the process of building the rocket. When will each engine fire and wen will a empty tank decouple, that sequence is remembered. In the flight the stages get triggered by key "Space", so you can easily focus on the other aspects of the flight like trajectory, speed, speed, fuel status and similar.. - One of the most useful options is the map - a 3D view of the space surrounding the rocket. Orbital Map shows information of critical mission success. Based of the speed, trajectory and gravitational effects of the nearby planet, on the map you can see the Estimated Trajectory ofyour craft. The trajectory is usually elliptical, because your spend most of time in the solar system (Unless you forgot to reduce the Throttle). - The game was til recently for Free and now there are a Free and a Full version. They are basically the same, except that the paid version is constantly improved, and the Demo version is outdated. Along that, in the full version its possible to control more rockets simultaneously, and it has more parts. - Someone might mind that all that is happening on a fictional planet called Kerbin, witch is for some reason built to remind of Earth. If you ignore the fact that that Kerbin sxist of green planes, water and a launching tower, the graphics is pretty decent. Rating: 65/100

I think you\'re wrong, if we nagg hard engoung they wont have much choice and add more planets.. Also i reed somewhere that they will add other stars and as i can see stars aren\'t mentioned here.. so probably later with stars will come more planets.. Would be nice for Pasing.. -
