  1. Unfortunently, you cant control things such as rockets or solid boosters when they are split from the craft. The only thing really controllable is the 2 types of landing gear, that I\'ve found so far.
  2. Having food, oxygen and water would make it obviously tough to just have your random craft orbit a celestial body infinently, but if that were implemented, it might also bring soe new key parts to your craft, things like water recycling(?), some sort of onboard farm, and something for the air.
  3. Just kind of wondering but, has anybody noticed that Kerbin is not actually on orbit? sometimes when you zoom out from your spacecraft, and it doesnt happen often, you can see the actual orbit it is supposed to be in beside Kerbin. Kerbin is actually farther from kerbol than it is supposed to be.
  4. As I said, not really sure what the hell happened xD
  5. Just take a look... All stock parts Im not sure really what the hell happened here, but I ended up going 24.7 times the speed of light, and just rocketed out of the solar system. Edit* Funny thing also, when I look back towards the Kerbol system is, I see a trajectory, and the thing that tells for a moon landing, not sure on which one though. Edit* Also kind of curious, what are all of the units of measurment in KSP? I managed to get it to something like, 150,000 T(?), before reverting to a quicksave since many of my rockets orbiting planets had disapeared. If anybody knows what that means, and whats past it, then post, I\'d like to see
  6. Sorry for no pictures, but here\'s my main rocket. This rocket is easily capable of getting you out to Minmus and beyond, requires almost no intervention during launch, depending on if you toggled the SAS fast enough, and also comes with a rover for some surface exploration 8) Oh, and no mods are required.
  7. It doesn\'t seem to be well known, to me really, that you can actually switch to debris ejected from your ships. You can end flights also with this to clear up some Kerbin space. An opportunity for this though, just if you want to have some fun, is that you can make some sort of missile with an A.S.A.S system, not quite sure if that would work with debris, and maybe launch it into stuff 8) Edit* Thought I mentioned this in the first part, guess not, but you can actually control the debris, well, I haven\'t fully tested everything, but I did extend and retract a landing strut a few times, its basically your controlling the debris is what I meant.
  8. Edit* I\'ve now totally screwed my persistance and quicksave, nothing will appear now, but I have the 2 files with all the text they need, could this be because its set to open with notepad for some reason? because it opens with notepad, it now just says persistance and not persistance.sfs, could that be why? *Edit* Now! I have fixed it. As a note to some people doing this, be really careful with what you are doing. If it does not work after, and things are missing, try launching a craft, and exiting a program. Next go to saves, and if it created a new persistant file, look at the spelling of that, delete it, and rename your original to that. That was my problem, renamed it wrong and wouldn\'t work, but really, be careful with this.
  9. Nice, keep improving your rocket design and you\'ll be able to land even more there. Im constantly launching missions to minmus, almost always works, and soemtimes I even get part of my second stage there 8) I usually have about 7 full fuel tanks then, saving the rockets for launching off to new planets then use the rovers on them there ;D
  10. So those stone things are monoliths? lol, Finnaly found out what that stone thing near the KSC was.
  11. Well I heard somewhere (Don\'t exactly remember by now), that there were some sort of easter eggs on the Mun? Although it could be that KSC that was up there, im wondering if there is any actual easter eggs in the game that anybody has found, and if so, where? Otherwise if there is none, I think they could be a nice thing to implement (Why not?).
