  1. Laythe is the only one with an atmosphere, so it might be nice if you have a parachute, though not much land mass. Tylo.. I'm guessing you're rover doesn't have that kind of thrust to be able to land safely, so that is probably out of the question You may be able to land on Vall, but again, not sure of your rovers thrust, though Vall does have some nice 'structures'... I'd say your best bet is either Pol or Bop, I'd choose Bop because of its rather angry resident.

  3. It's not a suggestion, the OP was trying to find out how to calculate the lagrange points, but just didn't know that they didn't exist in KSP

  5. Actually it would be quite easy. The problem lies with how KSP's physics actually work out, the planets are on 'rails,' and you can only simulate one bodies gravity at once. I've threw something together of the likes myself, and I found it pretty easy

  7. As soon as .17 came out, I was setting up to go to Moho I ended up zooming by it the first time, and the second got into orbit around it, third time I experienced its heat.. And the fourth, I landed on it.

Yes, the calculations for n-body physics are actually pretty simple, its just that you cannot predict future orbits at all really, as the equations for position-time only work when there is only one body being calculated for. You still can of course predict the future orbit as it would play out, but it would require you to calculate how ever far into the orbit you want to see in advance, which is likely to make your game run quite slowly.
  9. Yep, unfortunately you can't connect it to two different parts simultaneously, but you can always strut the pieces together.
