  1. Usually a game to build and design crafts, and do stuff you won't be able to do on most games. Also, for fun. KSP acts as a "time-dump" mechanism if you got nothing to do or bored or whatever. I tend not to go deeper on science stuff, but only on basic and essential ones. My "realism" is only limited to rocket designs. (screw efficiency, dV and oberth effect, I'll just bring more fuel than I should just in case. YOUR SCIENCE HAS NO POWER OVER ME! )
  2. dem origins. #justnewpeoplethings
  3. Banned for red iron crown. touche
  4. I thought they were planning to launch a person to venus by *insert year here*. Just finished reading the details.
  5. Just launched an interplanetary cruiser ship into orbit. Had to empty out most tanks just to make it lighter and easier to lift. ATOR Asura. (PS Night photography is awesome)
  6. Banned for breaking up on re-entry
  7. Banned for having a liking with trains (inb4 getting banned for being a cup)
  8. This thing since morning. Party vibes bruh
  9. A - Using A + D during launch, then roll later with Q + E when needed if in orbit already (I only use W + S in polar missions and docking). A - Kill horizontal, then go vertical if altitude low enough (around 5km altitude on Mun for reference). B - WASDQE + IJKLHN. Like what have been said before, why switch to dock mode, when you can actually do both? I reserve docking mode for rovers. C: "What choices? I always let MJ handle 100% of the work while I watch here."
  10. When you've docked something very large, and you've achieved the expected results. NO WOBBLES! Euphoria has been achieved.
  11. Successfully docked the largest stuff I can ever join in orbit: 2 "huge" interplanetary ship pieces with FOUR docking ports equally separated. Took me almost an hour total. Got it docked thrice in total, undocking during first 2 due to some problems (first one only got 1/4 docked, while second has 3/4 docked). Seen here during the undock - realign - dock again phase. This is actually the prototype, just to test it now I have plans to make a good use for it in the future.
  12. pfft, I've been playing since 0.10 yet I only got less than 1.5
  13. Since the conception of dock ports, it has become my habit to put 2/3/4 (never 1) 1m docking ports instead of 2m ones to join 2m-diameter segments if there is only one connection due to their inherent instability to hold segments especially when turning massive ships (interplanetary stuffs) and because I want the ship to dock in a certain orientation (even the slightest rotation will make me undock the ship, rotate a bit, and dock it again in case of 2m dock ports). That's why I don't do side-facing ports like this (especially it the things docked on both sides are of uneven weight - it throws the ship off-balance) since the acceleration tends to leave the part behind (a.k.a "bend backwards"). Apparently, in case of this one (note the dock ports on that thing): Wobbliness was still experienced even when using multiple port mechanism when I've turned it to a certain heading. I've right clicked every node in the assembly, and all gave me the "undock node" option - meaning they're all docked so there's no way it could wobble the ship. Am I doing something wrong? Or the game really just works like this? How to minimize wobble without using any plugin?
  14. *urge of dloading the craft and firing the srb ramp just to see what happens*
