[0.20.2] Mission Controller v0.10 (06/24/2013) [ALPHA]

Note this is still sandbox mode. Career mode will hopefully/probably change this. The yellow sticky note in the bottom of the second image indicates that eventually "reverting" will be limited -
[0.20.2] Mission Controller v0.10 (06/24/2013) [ALPHA]

Which is an issue with KSP balancing. Usually the LV's IRL cost about 150-200 million if you are talking ULA 50 million if you are talking SpaceX. The satellites can cost hundreds of millions more. In KSP however the satellites are usually made of the same parts used in the launch vehicle instead of special highly expensive gold foil, glass optics, sensors and what not. This is a balancing issue that is probably not going to be solved anytime soon. -
Check the historical craft thread. This thread is for HOME Jool and the DEMVs

[0.20.2] Mission Controller v0.10 (06/24/2013) [ALPHA]

They will still work just fine, release the ones you have already and then work on new ones maybe? Also these quick changes are adding many features that will give a very nice sturdy base for great work in the future. I think it is quite exciting personally. -
[WIP]United Launch Alliance Pack *V1.0RC1 Released*

I think you should definitely go ahead and do the DeltaII CluelessModeler. I have a confession to make, and that is that while I was away my computer decided to go ahead and delete it's OS. This might cause a slight developmental hiccup. Don't worry though I have the files and am making arrangements to continue development while I find out what the hell happened to my computer. A sibling or two might die in the wee hours of the morning. . . . or I might have to tackle mother nature. I don't know yet. -

new buttons! These are for different mission types The mission button is a generic default for user made or miscellaneous mission types The probe mission type will be for anything involving a probe that doesn't meet a more specific type (lander, sample, rover, impactor, etc) -

[WIP]United Launch Alliance Pack *V1.0RC1 Released*
BlazingAngel665 replied to Chimer4's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Sunday so ditto. I will hopefully be looking for some testers by Wednesday because the week after I am going to Hawthorne/JPL/Edwards for a week and a half. Maybe I will see something cool and get some inspiration. This time however I should hopefully have access to the files I need to continue development so if I get a testing version out then I can squash bugs in between lectures/photops. -
Full of win good ser. Full of win. I whole heartedly approve of this endeavor. The interior was stellar modeling work. It seemed to flow very well. I can see James Kir(k)man in command of that ship.

Contribution to the GUI side of things: I am putting together a set of buttons at the request of nobody44 and this is the first iteration. The selection box will go away -
[WIP]United Launch Alliance Pack *V1.0RC1 Released*
BlazingAngel665 replied to Chimer4's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Unfortunetly there is no way to set it up so that it cannot be throttled up unless it is deployed. I can use isoneshot=true but there is no animation trigger for stage activation. I *might* be able to set it up as a fairing and do a "deploy" animation. Nova sent me some great info on using unity to set this stuff up. Not sure I will have to try it when I get home to my main dev machine. In the mean time I am working on the Delta II and some web 2.0 icons for the mission control plugin -
[WIP]United Launch Alliance Pack *V1.0RC1 Released*
BlazingAngel665 replied to Chimer4's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Trying to but having detail implementing. Right now it is just a cylinder with a nozzle for doing tests though as I am on vacation. When I get home I should be able to try it on the real model. Right now however there is no reason to extend the nozzle. The engine works fine without it. Does anyone know a way to tie ISP to an animation? -

Add some ISA mapsat support for missions requiring a certain amount of mapping for planets. Or maybe combine it with the sample return plugin to require certain amounts of samples to be returned somewhere. Just my two bits. PS doing a little research for the icons, thinking about what kinda shape they should take. . . -
[WIP]United Launch Alliance Pack *V1.0RC1 Released*
BlazingAngel665 replied to Chimer4's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Hi guys, I'm BlazingAngel and as you might already know I am developing the Delta IV. Chimer4 and I have done some talking in the last few days and jointly decided to work together to complete the ULA pack. So now that Lockheed-Martin (Chimer) and Boeing (me) have merged what can you expect? Well first off, The complete Delta IV launch experience with multiple upper stages, two GEM sizes and 2 fairing options. Also 2 Delta II launch variants are being prepared in a secret off location facility (my mac, sucks for development but it's all I have access to for the next week or so.) Not sure which ones. Just to whet your appetites however is the video posted below. The Common Core Booster is ready for launch minus an Emissive and a cleanup on the texture. Next week I finish up the Cryogenic Second stage and hopefully (not a promise or release date) release version 0.1 of the Delta IV before July. -
Yeah thats in unity and I can't fix that without the unity files from Bobcat the "thrustTransform" is in the wrong spot.

But he has stated that the N-1 wasn't planned. -
I WILL FIX THE FREAKING ROVERS!!!!! It will happen. Actually I can't speak for the Mk2 That is in Bobcats department, if he wants me to fix it I will. The Mk4 has only a couple of bugs that need fixed, however I am planning on moving it over to stock wheels if I can get the model and textures from Bobcat (the unity assets file would be great) Sorry rant off. Anyways there is at least one spelling error in the mk 4 configs for the ASAS Hull. Sorry guys. Also the above fix will work, or alternatively you could put them in the legacy parts folder and that should work until the bug fix.
