  1. SAS modules are as good as nothing if they aren't on. I cannot tell you how many times my friends have forgot about taht
  2. Until we get some kind of offical payload part, making a 'heavy lifter' will be too easy. No payload. xD
  3. Sorry, you are just a tad late there bud (sig down below)
  4. It's a good idea to keep SAS modules in balance, although manual control can be an ass at times, I personally think its better than having a little window for manuevering.
  5. The Excelsior pack needs to be fixed, so they make sense... (large thrust engines need to consume more fuel, vice versa)
  6. Too bad you didn't design it as efficient as it could be, you could of either put radial decouplers on the bombs for another set of kerboomz, or put smaller sets near the in the indentation part of the craft. Also, I think you can edit the .cfg files in the radial decouplers to raise the detachment power of them, like how fast they break off from the main craft.
  7. SIMPLICTY WINS. Every crazy-ass-booster-spinning-lagging-monster stage just increases that much more chance or KERBLAM.
  8. Sorry but not impressive, and after 40km I believe, it is glitched to have 0% gravitational pull. :B
  9. Guys, to fix 'overcorrecting' creating stability issues, when you have semi-stability, press caps lock to change you SAS/manual force to percise, then again to go back to instant.
  10. This place will probably get flooded within the next 24 hours.... Anywho I have never really introduced myself. Hi.
  11. Either spin, or manually control. It's not too hard to handle. Requires somewhat good piloting skills tho.
  12. Simple Escaper: Parachute Command 2 Tanks Liquid Engine Decoupler 2 Tanks Triple coupler 3 liquid fuel engines Simple Orbiter: [same] My advice to you its to not have a first stage entirely of boosters.
  13. Sometimes rockets can bee too big. Unless they are cleverly made instead of attaching akajabillion boosters for launch, you wont get too far. Simplicity wins, for now, or atleast until planetary travels are introduced
  14. Ok, try these: 1. Unless its all boosters (you can't change the power of boosters), try starting the launch at a lower power, then slowly excelerate. 2. If you have fins on, try putting them on the bottom of every stage that burns in the atmosphere. This will create little drag but enough to keep the rocket aligned. 3. Add more SAS modules. Make sure they are activatred before launch 4. IF all fails, try one last thing, you may be going too slow which makes it tip over, so try adding boosters. That's all I can say.
  15. With alot, there are glitches where you dont see the earlier ones, but all you have to do is select the command module, but stil a bug.
  16. Basically the more lined-up they are, the more accurate they are to which angle/direction you are trying to fly at.
  17. Wait, couldn't a human do the first few posts and then let the bot do all the spamming after?
  18. YOu may have to extract the fiels before you put them in your parts folder right click > Extract all
  19. Interesting, it will actually be harder the further out you go, because I dontthink there is an extended orbit specs chart about 100 Km
