  1. You don't have these problem if you go in the international waters. However, you *might* have some problems finding the materials, getting the launch that float on the water and,I know it's going to sound ridiculous but you may have problem getting in the international waters!
  2. Why does it need a minimal leak? I mean,if you crash VERY slowly with a very tiny end,you won't get a lot of leak(if you get one).
  3. Could we have the option to cut the parachute? Also,I don't know if it is a bug but after I used the jection moduel to land on the VAB building,I tried to jump of the roof and press [space]+"f" to open the parachute(Jebediah love base jumping) but the parachute doesn't open(although on the GUI it is shown as "ready"). PS:Is there a way to edit the ejection module so it eject the kerbal vertically? PS2:Is there a way to edit the ejection module so it don't give a parachute to the verbal(I use the plugin that give a parachute to the kerbal when they are doing an EVA).
  4. I don't think it should work by a starting damage, the leak should be scaled to the force of the impact:crashing at 5m/s do more damage than crashing at 0.5 m/s. Also,(we can dream),the leak should be scaled to the surface of contact:crashing a (very solid)needle does less leak than crashing a truss!
  5. If you are talking about the plane wich as the rover wheels at the front, the answer is the same:no.
  6. Good idea. A good thing would be that the fuel leak produce some thrust,so if you have one(in exemple,on your lander) it would be more difficult to dock;you should think about what's the safiest:trying to dock the lander or maikng EVAs to go in the mothership?
  7. How do we open the kertown menu? EDIT:nevermind,I didn't find the menu because I didn't put the good folder in the gamedata folder.
  8. My (very little station(composed of two of the stock core and one emergency vessel))is at 85 km,lower than that I was afraid of falling in the atmosphere. Of course,80KM would be reasonable but I prefer to have a large margin.
  9. As soon as I can I will download this, look very cool! Can you upload the file in another format than .rar(like .zip or non-compressed)? I can't de-compress it Thank you in advance!
  10. Where do you find those images? I Wonder if looking at those images was a good idea, now I am even more impatient about 0.22
  11. I didn't tough that the chasing camera wasn't avaible in the atmosphere,it could be used in the atmosphere as long as you were above a certain altitude(something like 2km or 2.5km);I remember that you could use the chasing camera under that altitude if you went above that alitude, activated the chasing camera and then going back under the altitude.
  12. Using mods is not bad. Even if you consider that some mods is cheating(example:hyper edit),it's not the mod that is cheating but the way you use it: Landing you mega-base on the mun, claiming you did it by yourself might be called cheating. Using hyper edit to make the rocket(use hyper edit to take the lander into munar orbit to see if it can land and then making the launcher to put the lander into munar orbit)is not cheating.
  13. Wow,when I make the thread I was sure nobody would ever read it,that nobody would answer it and that nobody would ever answer the poll. Apparently, the point I turned out interested more people than I tough!
  14. This is why I can't wait for the career mode:you won't lose the knowledge but you will have to re-gain some knowledge(in example:"how will I do to get to the mun with those parts only?!).
  15. Hi,like the tittle say,I don't know if you noticed it but reaction wheels use more power when you turn the craft(wich is normal). Also,I don,t know if it has been announced(maybe it's a secret update)but you can now use the chase camera at any altitude(before, you could only actctivate it when you were above a certain altitude(I think it was something like 2km or 2.5km). Thank you for reading this short (and useless(I have to admit it))thread, feel free to answer everything you want(hate comment, saying it was obvious etc...)
  16. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CV-22_Osprey_flies_over_the_Emerald_Coast.JPG The v-22 osprey is so verbal(if you wonder how the v-22 osprey was landing without crushing the propeller onto the ground,it's a VTOL).
  17. A good thing would be to not be able to change camera view. You would have to put cameras on the craft before the launch, during the launch those cameras would make a sort of movie that you can watch after the crash. This would force the player to think about the placement of camres, thik about which view would be more interesting. Also,if such a system is implented,I think that we should be able to name the cameras, just to know where it has been placed(example:"first stage solid booster number 1,up,pointing upward").
  18. nothing, everything is normal. you can only do physics warp(alt+warp key) when the ship is throttled(you can go up to x4). This is why I never use the ion engine:not engough thrust.
  19. because fuel of monopropellant isn't unlimited while compressing air from air intake is unlimited(as long as you are in the atmosphere)
  20. When you hover, the aerodynamic control surface don't work. Also, you can compress the air intake and shoot the compressed gas like an RCS do.
  21. I was doing an apollo style mission. It was the time the dock the CSM to the LM,the CSM is separate from the LM(at launch) by to set of decoupler(so I can get them out of the way by jettisoning them after I turned the CSM around). The problem is that when I first press the spacebar,it didn't worked I pressed it a second time and the command pod separated of the SM,I had to dock with a free-flying command pod with the LM,luckely I was able to save the kebals.
  22. That's exactly what I meant! By the way,I don't know if the NASA charge to watch the launches, but the kerbals could do that anyway!
  23. hi! In the real world, you can assist to the launch of the rockets(at least the american one( I don't know for the russians ones)). This (short) suggestion is for making in-game money of it:the kerbals could pay to assist to the launches you make, which would give you some money(not a lot, thought). Depending of the particularity of the craft(explosive/non-explosive/big bomb on engine),the achievement it has done(getting into orbit for the first time, getting to the moon and back) and (maybe) the number of time it has been used(after a while the kerbals get sick of it) would change the amount of kerbals who would want to assist to the launch(and the amount of money they are willing to spend for it). Thank you for reading!
