Standard part parameters.

Huh, no I did not. The back end of the craft is clearly Russian in its stylings, it was just the sleek, curvy, black and white from that screamed NASA to me. It\'s probs just because I am so used to seeing the curvy b/w space shuttle for so long. I was literally raised admiring those things.
Bear in mind that this was a genuine soviet spacecraft;

Take your time, given the quality of this mod, it must take ages.
Quick question: on the very first post, you mention that a 'Cliper ship' is in the works. What whil, this be exactly?
Not clipper, but Kliper.
-
Yes-just put
ActivatesEvenIfDisconnected = True
into the .cfg.

Death?
You can\'t express happiness without death?
-
Sorry it may be a bit crude
That\'s the very first version of the pack-Silisko never bothered to update the picture.

What\'s my formula?
Number of letters in the word, until you reach four, which has four letters.
Again, easy.
-
But those arn\'t words, they\'re numbers.
One, two, three, twenty-one et.c. are words.
-
Seen this one a billion times.
Here\'s another:
I know 999 words, and they\'re all related in two ways.
One: none of them contain A.
Two: They\'re usually used in sequence.
GO!
The numbers up to a thousand. Easy!

Might have lower-end hardware then. It takes around four minutes for mine to load.
He\'s not talking about KSP, he\'s talking about one part-so yes, it\'s broken.

Get into a roughly round kerbin orbit, keeping below maybe 100km, then wait until the Mun is on the horizon. Then, burn so that the apoapsis is roughly at the distance of the Mun-do it slightly below to impact or land, and above to enter orbit. This gets you to the Mun with much less fuel use, and faster.

This is most likely the wrong place, but is there a guide to making parts in sketch-up?
It\'s definately the wrong place, and no, there isn\'t. There is, however one for Blender, which is also free.

Are you activating the SAS (using T)?
Could we have some screenshots of your rockets (use F1)?
Have you tried adding fins to the bottom of your rockets? Rockets leading slowly to the side is usually an aerodynamic issue, and fins usually help.

I don\'t see anything about a shuttle in their thread-and they seem to be working on quite a lot of things anyway.
I say it\'s probably best to do it anyway.
-
I tried replicating this on my version, but I cannot.
He gave more info in another thread; he built a ship with the parts, then deleted the Parts folders, and was surprised when it stopped working.

TW, foil can be left unbent.
Not if you\'re making a sphere out of it.

i cant find the down under pack, i already have the intreprid and derp and silisko part thing.

Remember an engine . Shuttle returned 1st stage liquid fuel engines while Energia\'s engines were lost. And I suppose that those LOX-LH2 monsters cost a helluva lot.
But that\'s the same as every single other rocket ever made-so you can\'t really claim that it\'s fundamentally uneconomical.
-
Buran had only one reusable part and the space shuttle had...two-not much of a difference really.
And recycling the SRB\'s probably didn\'t produce much of a cost saving; e.g Ariane V uses similar boosters, which are recoverable, but they aren\'t reused-they don\'t find it worth the effort.
-
Wait, is that a four panel conical decoupler?!!? Please tell me it\'s true! My dreams of performing a true Apollo-style moon landing will become that much closer!
It is, and it\'s already in the pack.
-
Whoops, got me there. Energia II was still an interesting concept.
Energia-Vulkan was interesting as well-2 Energia\'s stacked one above the other, with 8 boosters-and powerful to put Mir into orbit, with a good 45 tons to spare, or 3 of China\'s planned modular station.
-
What I find most interesting about Energia is the fact that the entire system was designed to be re-used -- in fact, the boosters were designed to be flown back to an airfield, where they\'d land much like the Shuttle!
Not baseline Energia-that was planned for Energia II.
-
Far from suggesting the Americans were in some way defective, I\'d say that if the Russians FAILED to make it an improvement they\'d have been defective!
And, of course, having Buran also meant having Energia, which could lift far more than the Shuttle-e.g. it could have launched your \' ENTIRE FULLY ASSEMBLED SPACE STATION!\'

And I take it you didn\'t read the bits where 57 we\'re killed filling up the Vostok & Kosmos rockets then?
You have to take the proportion into account for example-that Vostok was one of only 3 R7 based rockets to ever explode, out of 1707 launch attempts-more than all U.S. rockets added together. The Kosmos rockets weren\'t even initially designed as orbital launchers, and it must be remembered that those 2 are, again, part of a very large sample-more than 600 orbital launch attempts, compared to the 2 out of 134 failed shuttle launches.

But you can quite easily get a plane into orbit with one stage...
