  1. Two months later and still waiting for patches. I'm glad I got my refund when I did.
  2. No Man's Sky has had six updates in the past three weeks. Certification doesn't take two months. Also, Bug#10111 is still showing 0% progress, so that is also super encouraging. Very glad I got a refund when I did, but at this rate I won't be buying it back any time soon.
  3. This has happened for me several times while landing on Kerbin. If the ship successfully lands on the "ground", I can recover it normally. Sometimes though it just falls forever.
  4. Three weeks since this report. I'm guessing it isn't coming on Tuesday.
  5. And it's especially important if you have parts that have docking ports connected to your ship, or fairings with a top heavy payload. Without some struts to add structural integrity, even if you make it off the launch pad, you're probably not going to make orbit.
  6. And remember that you can have multiple windows open, if you want to move fuel from one tank into/out of multiple tanks for example.
  7. Says he's not a betting man. Immediately bets.
  8. Right. The console "update" they gave, was to tell us that they had no news on an update. Not much bloody help. " Just like last week we’ll start out with an update on the console releases, and the PlayStation 4 release in Europe in particular. Despite our best efforts there’s no news to share on this front yet: we’re still going through the paperwork. "
  9. Was that officially stated anywhere, or is that just conjecture?
  10. If you review the forums, the save game corruption is occurring without switching profiles. It is happening on both the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game, just through normal play. I suggest you request a refund until such time as Flying Tiger can put out a patch to fix this issue.
  11. The console ports are not unplayable, just as long as you're okay with your career mode eventually losing the ability to save your progress. I can deal with the choppy frame rate, or the occasional bugs with the maneuver nodes. Losing hours and hours of work however is a bridge too far. I'm going back to my PC version until this is fixed.
  12. At least until the issue is corrected, at which point I'll buy it again. I just don't have the confidence to wait without taking precautions.
  13. Yes. I always delete the file on the console before copying over from USB. And the issue appears to be progressive. I bought the game on release on the 12th and my first corruption was on the 17th. After that, it got worse and worse day by day. I've given up completely now until the game is patched.
  14. Interesting. I didn't know that, knowing very little of the port process in Unity. That's a shame. Using a mouse in KSP is second nature to me, so it would certainly help with setting maneuver nodes when time is at a premium.
  15. I have just been granted a refund on the game from Sony. They are aware of the issue, and are informing their CSRs to be prepared for people to contact them. Further I have asked them to investigate the issue on their side, asking how the game make it through certification in its current state and follow up on the status of a patch. I'm hoping that Flying Tiger will respond quickly and the matter is resolved, but I don't feel comfortable waiting for that to happen in good faith. I will be posting this message in other threads related to this issue, for maximum visibility. Call 1-855-999-7669 (SONY), and select option 2 for PSN purchases. Squad, I love your game. I own it on Steam already, and I fully intend to re-purchase it if/when the issue is resolved, but this port should have never made it through certification. The corruption issue was the straw that broke the camel's back, but there were other bugs too like frequent crashing, the lack of optimization, or occasional inability to edit maneuver nodes. I'm hoping that questions will be asked, and issues addressed. If I were in your position, I wouldn't want these issues reflecting on me as the original developer. (Sorry, I don't have the appropriate Xbox details. I assume it's 1-877-696-7786 but I can't confirm that)
  16. Sorry, I'm not sure what is happening with you. L2 and R2 work perfectly for me during EVA. I assume that once you go EVA that you hit square to turn on RCS?

  21. What do you mean Klesh? The version that the PS4 uses?
  22. I really wish they would implement it, considering how little change they've made to the UI. It should be a natural match.
  23. This isn't always an option. I'd been making USB saves for days, and it's gotten to the point now that I can't save without it becoming corrupted. Don't think this is an exaggeration. Over the weekend, it happened 15 times in a row. In a full day's play I managed to get one successful save which I immediately backed up to USB. It doesn't matter if I save manually, or get an autosave, exit my game manually or crash, the majority of the saves are corrupt. Literally, I'll go into my game, make some changes in the VAB and save, and it's corrupt. Or launch a rocket, get into orbit, save, and it's corrupt. I'm afraid of trying to do anything time consuming or elaborate because I know that I'm just going to end up doing it again after the save corrupts.
