  1. Since 0.23.5, I get a crash to desktop when clicking on "scenarios" from the main menu. Fresh install, no mods. Terminal output: ./KSP.x86_64 Set current directory to ~/KSP_0235 Found path: ~/KSP_0235/KSP.x86_64 Mono path[0] = '~/KSP_0235/KSP_Data/Managed' Mono path[1] = '~/KSP_0235/KSP_Data/Mono' Mono config path = '~/KSP_0235/KSP_Data/Mono/etc' Aborted (core dumped) KSP.log: http://pastebin.com/w6uEDNns
  2. Yeah, looks like it works right to me. The CoM indicator definitely moves as you tweak the fuel level in the tanks.
  3. With the new biomes on Minmus, it's basically possible to unlock every part in career mode without ever going interplanetary. Not sure if this was intended, but it seems like an oversight to me. Either the science returns from the Mun and Minmus need to be reduced somewhat, or the part tree should be reworked. Discuss.
  4. KSP already works on Linux, and is released on Steam. "Steam OS" is Linux with Steam pre-installed. No reason it shouldn't work.
  5. All of the streams are available as normal videos on twitch as soon as the stream is over. http://www.twitch.tv/ksptv/profile/pastBroadcasts
  6. Orion 0.18 works great for me on KSP 0.22 on Linux. Have you considered adding the new landing leg piston module to the pusher plate, to make landings easier?
  7. It would seem you're right. The problem was, I copied my settings.cfg over from my windows KSP install. With a fresh config, right shift works.
  8. Nope, right shift + click seems to grab the whole stack in the VAB.
  9. KSP runs perfectly here (Ubuntu 13.10), but I have one problem: The alt key, otherwise used for duplicating subassemblies in the VAB, is already used by the OS for drag-moving windows. The key doesn't appear to be re-mappable in KSP settings, so I can't use the functionality. Any solutions to this?
  10. Confirmed, the Aries 4a flies like a dream now.
  11. I like it, it makes aeroplanes flyable with the keyboard and makes you actually fly your rockets. The people who are disappointed obviously didn't get the idea that the functionality and intended purpose of the stabilization mode are changing, not just its quality.
  12. Play with planes, a lot. I can't for the life of me learn to fly them with a keyboard, the new ASAS is supposed to make this much easier.
  13. I've been playing since 0.8.3, the day HarvesteR posted it on orbiter-forum.
  14. As an EE student I'm thoroughly intrigued. How are you doing this in KSP?
  15. No, SOI size is related to the mass ratio between the body and its primary, and the square of the distance between the two. In a two-body patched conics universe, a body's SOI ends at the distance where the gravity force of its primary is stronger than that of the body itself.
  16. I actually use only vanilla parts for rockets and planes, but I use the fixed camera mod for cockpit and landing views.
  17. The spheres of influence aren't defined by a fixed radius, what sphere of influence you're in is determined by which body effects you the most with its gravitational force. If a body has zero mass, the radius of its sphere of influence is zero.
  18. Just attempting some stunt flying and failing horribly.
  19. The rest of the specs look OK, but I don't think the case is bitchin' enough to handle KSP.
  20. Seeing as how "just RCS" is more than enough to land and return from Mun/Minmus, I'm going to say yes.
