Invert Pitch/Yaw/Roll input on control surfaces
Wjolcz replied to Wjolcz's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Brake rudders. Just like in FAR. The A.I.R.B.R.A.K.E. already has that functionality. It would be nice if all control surfaces had the ability to do the same. -
Invert Pitch/Yaw/Roll input on control surfaces

It's only an example. I was also refering to horizontal yaw control. -
Invert Pitch/Yaw/Roll input on control surfaces
Wjolcz replied to Wjolcz's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Sorry, but I didn't post this thread to ask questions about my design. I know how to make a flying wing. I've been doing them for quite a while with FAR and pWings installed. The one presented in the picture is a quick and dirty example on which I wanted to present the issue I'm having. The problem with stock game is the fact that I can't replicate even the simplest thing that resembles a blended body wing, or any similar design. And it could be fixed with simply inverting the output of control surfaces. I stated that I was holding S at the time of taking the picture and even the pitch input is there in bottom left corner. -
Seriously. I'm so annoyed right now because I can't make a flying wing design work for whatever reason. Just look at this! Whenever I hold 'S' it just pitches down (and no, I didn't change anything in my input settings. It's all as it should be): It would also be great to have horizontal ctrl srfs to act as Yaw. Basically what FAR does, except in stock and maybe simpler.

Does Orion constellation is visible in JANUARY :D
Wjolcz replied to Pawelk198604's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I feel ya. Whenever I look up and there are stars visible in the sky I'm like "Woah I'm part of this. My atoms are your atoms, Dear Stars." Orion sure is a nice constellation during winter in Poland. You can even see the nebula as a dim cloud in the sky, if I'm not mistaken. Just below the belt. -
People who joined back in 2011: are any of you still here?
Wjolcz replied to Panichio's topic in KSP1 Discussion
0.11 here. But I've been watching the game and forums since 0.9, because the only computer I had at the time was a Mac and 0.11 was the first version I could play. I also remember when there was no QA team and Harvester was posting new versions and getting the feedback from the forum users. -
I agree with this in 10000%

[1.2.x] Aviator Arsenal - World War 2 aircraft weaponry (v1.3)

Any new toys we can expect in the next update? -
That's one way to do this. You would get the coords of points of interest and rotate the telescope in order to find them, or simply take a look from time to time to check if anything there changed. There could be strangely oscillating double star systems, stars on wierd orbits around unknown objects, or simply blinking pulsars. Or sources of radio signals (it's actually a pretty fun way to implement easter eggs IMO). The other way to implement this would be simply putting a telescope up in orbit that gathers those pics automatically. Like, you know, IRL, I guess. The Hubble telescope is used by many different agencies to take pics AFAIK. You could just leave it there and get dem pics. There's also the third way to do this, which is SQUAD's way. They had the telescope discovery system in works since forever. The only reason it's not in the game is the fact that they decided to wait till more planets is added, so we actually have something to discover. Also Kepler-like missions. I would actually be soooo happy to hunt for exoplanets!

Cameras with filters showing the composition of planets and their atmospheres would be a great thing to have. Rep could be gained by taking pics, but I don't think it should be much. Like 2-5 rep points per pic. What I really would like to see in the game is a telescope part. It would take pictures of galactic events, nebulas other galaxies, quasars and display actual info about them. This game could be such a great tool to actually TEACH about both of those things! Why shouldn't it do so GODDAMMIT!? WHY!?

(STAR WARS SPOILERS) Was anyone else a bit disappointed with Star Wars?
Wjolcz replied to SlabGizor117's topic in The Lounge
I like spaghetti and I got spaghetti. Except with new pasta. It was fresh and new but still the same spaghetti. And I enjoyed it. I loved all those puppets and the characters and the fact the film had some actual funny moments, but I didn't like the Even-Newer-Death-Star plot thingie. And I hope the next film will be Even-Newer-Newer-New-Death-Star (and gluten) free. -
Training/Tutorial Suggestion Thread
Wjolcz replied to Glaran K'erman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I would like to have a scenario creator so we can create and share scenarios/tutorials ourselves. Just a tool that let's you put vessels around bodies and create windows with text (the ones with Wernher and the other guy) when needed. Would have to be like Hyper Edit, I guess. -
So either water is OP or land is UP
Wjolcz replied to 322997am's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Or maybe that's because you can't drown in grass? -
Not sure if we really need any bigger landing gear, but the biggest one could be slightly redone to look like the ones on the Falcon. Would have nothing against that.

How about not making me quit FIVE (5) times?
Wjolcz replied to Ptorq's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I actually thought it was some stupid rant for a sec, but was surprised it isn't. I agree. Sth like this would be nice, though I would probably still click the red X because I play in windowed mode. -
EVA Parachutes
Wjolcz replied to Mrninjabobdude's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
IIRC this was in SQUAD's plans a long time ago. Not sure what happened to it though. -
