  1. I don't care about the barn. It was kinda ugly. I wish they worked more with bac9 on implementing his models and ideas. Not only his buildings have less polygons but also look waaaaaaaay better. E: Anyone has the link to his album full of those untextured low tier KSC buildings?
  2. Nice. But that doesn't work very well if you want to use them for yaw. It's possible to do that with AIRBRAKEs, but not with standard control surfaces. http://i.imgur.com/ik10PY0.jpg
  3. AIRBRAKEs are alright and I don't mind any improvements to them, but the main thing I would like to have in stock is having the ability for ctrl surfaces to act as brake rudders (just like the AIRBRAKEs do). AIRBRAKEs seem to fit only the top (and bottom) of the Mk2 parts, and I would like to have other control surfaces to act as brake rudders/split rudders because the airbrakes look super ugly when used on the wings. http://www.nurflugel.com/Nurflugel/Northrop/n-9m/n-9ma_split_flap.jpg Ugh. I still can't get used to posting pics, I guess.
  4. Oh no the title! Ahhhh! My eyes! AFAIK something like this is already in game/planned to be in 1.1.
  5. Looks like a very useful mod. Wish it was stock even though it's a kind of autopilot, but then rovers are painful to use.
  6. I'm all for the B-29 cockpit. I love high visibility glass-first cockpits. I voted for 2.5m plane parts, but I think that new textures and fuel switch would be enough.
  7. I liked the fact that there was an easter egg in a form of the SSTV signal on Duna or the Valhenge, created by @NovaSilisko. I think he was intending to extend the story and it was some sort of sneak peek of what's going to be added next. Maybe not a kerbal plot itself, but it was actually fun to guess what's it all about. Too bad he doesn't work with SQUAD anymore. He did some amazing retexturing work in Alternis and I would love to see some of his ideas in a form of extended solar system in stock.
  8. AFAIK the current science sending antennae won't be replaced. Maybe with better textures and/or models. However there will be more parts added dedicated to communication (between Kerbin and probes) only. I might be wrong though. Haven't been paying much attention to the latest dev notes.
  9. I always wanted to replicate some of space shuttle proposed designs. Especially the one with 2 big tanks on the sides. Might try it with Vectors. About 6 should be enough to lift the whole thing, right?
  10. I'm normally against any weapons in KSP, but some of those battles are way too much fun to watch. I think I found a new favourite sport.
  11. Same thing happened to me. Would be nice if they did that. Also brake rudders.
  12. I usually have my interplanetary ships controled by probes, so there are no command pods. Even if there are they are only landers. It also depends how lazy I am, of course. If I find the 1x Hitch + 1x Hitch (lander) combo sufficient then I don't add any additional 'living modules'. I probably should download the USI-LS though. Been planing to do that for a while and since I'm about to start a new save with modded tech tree I don't see a reason why not to use it. Might be fun.
  13. I actually feel discouraged to keep playing my pre-1.0.5 career save after updating. Last time I launched the game back on I just cheated 2.5mln vf, upgraded the R&D and thought something like "Uhh... Do I really want to send another mission?" and closed the game. Now I'm feeling torn. I invested so much time and because of that I don't want to start another save, but I also feel a kind of sentiment. I landed a whole bunch of base modules on Laythian Northern Pole in preperation for the big mission and then the parts got shuffled on the tree again. Eh.
  14. Same. At least one Htichhiker per every two kerbals. I also never send interplanetary ships without having at least 3 members of the crew on board.
  15. I'm no expert but it would if it was possible and AFAIK no material is able to whitstand such lenght/acceleration and be rigid enough to not be a wet noodle at the same time.
  16. I'm actually curious to see an example of a craft with clipped parts that would give a visible advantage over the opponents. Can you provide such example?
  17. If both games had a baby we would have pWings and propellers in KSP and I think I would actually like both of those things. SimplePlanes is very cool for a mobile game, but it doesn't have much more than KSP has. It's basically KSP with less rockets.
  18. Oh come on! I know it's winter season and you don't wash your rockets as you would during summer! Look at all that filth! I'm surprised there's still no "Clean me, please!" written with a finger on the back! It's such a poor joke and I don't even own a car, but will pretendit's funny. Ayyyyyyyyyyyyy
  19. I want some sort of life support to actually use those cyclers. It's not worth making them if you don't play with LS. I don't want to derail the thread, but I think LS would actually force me (and others perhaps?) to think. "Hm. Can I make it there without overbuilding my space ship? Will it even take off with that mass? Or maybe I could use one of those cyclers to shorten the trip and spend less money everytime I want to go there?" There are so many cool real life concepts and ideas that are simply not worth doing in KSP. And it's not because KSP is limiting, but actually because it misses so many elements that could enhance the gameplay. Solving problems is fun!
  20. The service bays are alright IMO. The only thing I would change if I could redo them would be the doors. They should slide left/right instead of opening and pushing everything away. Just like that one mod called "Six-something". Lemme find that one real quick. EDIT: Ok, nevermind. They didn't slide open. Still would like to have that though. The mod was called 6S Service Compartment Tubes btw.
