  1. I've always seen piracy more of a reaction to the user-unfriendliness of companies/games (ie. bad ports, draconian DRM, over-priced, etc.). Companies who seem to be doing well in terms of piracy are the ones with good support, reasonable price, no invasive DRM. Squad/KSP are both very user-friendly. DRM would only work against the game.
  2. What's the mod with the crew tanks, can't find it anywhere. In response to the 'how-to-easily-get-in-a-certain-orbit', there are several warp mods out there.
  3. Don't you get a free speed boost (as in less fuel but still high speed due to the gravity assist). Anyway doesn't matter. Bummer to hear MJ can't help.
  4. Nova posted this layout for future updates to the solar system: The Tiny Ice Planet and Moon seem very Plutoish. You'll also see they're planning an asteroid belt.
  5. With 0.17 around the corner gravity assists/slingshots will become more important, since the speed it nets you will be necessary to travel to the other planets/moons efficiently and quickly. I'd like to practice this technique on Kerbin/Mun/Minmus so that I know how to do it when 0.17 comes out. I'm more of a builder, so I generally just use MechJeb to get around. Could anyone tell me what to do in MechJeb to for example slingshot around the Mun to Minmus, then slingshot from Minmus to Kerbin? Thanks.
  6. The smallest moons are not to scale, as they'd be smaller than a pixel. Also the wiki says Minmus has a radius of 60 km. That being said, I'm very excited about how varied the solar system (kerbolar system?) is becoming. Each planet/moon has its own challenge. Moho's day side will be ship burning hot, Eve's thick atmosphere makes landing very easy (parachutes) but ascent very tricky, Jool will have a big gravity well but interesting moons in its orbit, etc. I wish I could play it right now. Or rather not, as I wouldn't get any work done at all.
  7. Thanks for the names. Now I've been able to finish my graphic, which shows the 0.17 solar system, as I was stuck on the names: The relative proportions are true where applicable (ie. the bodies where we have the radius of). The distances between planets are a guestimate based on screenshot. The rest is just artistic liberty. Hope you like it.
