1. Get it into an fbx format. Autodesk FBX is a free converteer.
2. Making them look a little shabby and run-down would give the old "nostalsgic" feeling.
3. My Mini Lander's design had one flaw: Not enough fuel for return trips. I sent out a rescue lander to get Jeb out of the cockpit, but once reaching orbit it's engines died (Again from not enough fuel) Although I managed to send out a refuelling probe to rescue the rescue lander, the Mini Lander itself is still stuck on the Mun's surface, acting as shelter and free fuel for anyone who visits, along with the flag that marked its first landing by Jeb.
4. Romfaror's Lazorsystem curbs this if you increase the draw distance. But depending on how close they were it might not be needed. I just splashed down my rescue lander with 2 pods, which separated and deployed their own chutes.
5. Great! I was hoping for something like this to be implemented.
6. Just don't hold down the key control and retract slowly. That's what I do with space debris.
7. I thank you for making such a mod. My scrap deorbiter can haul debris in with minimal effort. Also, it sucks fuel from the debris using the Lazor System. Talk about taking the leftovers. Note you can't see the cable, but it's attached to a piece of debris and isin the process of drawing fuel from it. And thanks for giving me the idea of compact engineering. The amount of stuff squeezed there onto the small tank is a new technique I learned.
8. Heck yeah, I was hoping for a quick response like that from a dev! I wish I could tap into my limited Javascript skills and stuff, I don't use C++.
9. bac9, it is my greatest honour that I thank you for making this AMAZING COOL HOLY COW RIGHT OFF THE BAT OF THIS VERY WORLD *insert random words of praise* part pack! I have never seen such detail put into those models, let alone, the sheer number of parts! And thanks to you KSP now takes one more minute to start! Thanks for the pack, its the most high-quality pack I've seen on these forums so far...
10. It's a matter of trying it. It seems difficult from the topic, but it's like, super easy when you actually use it in KSP.
11. I'll stick to using truck wheels until the Torpedo here releases like, the kind of landing gear you might find on a 777. Btw any chance of making a steerable copy of the default gear?
12. Why not duplicate that Mk2 Cockpit folder and change the folder name and the part names and stuff in the cfg as well? So 2 different cockpits for stock compatibility.
13. I think so. Being a flight sim enthusiast I found helicopters in X-Plane and Flight Simulator X tend to tilt forward.
14. Uh oh, Cart's not getting updated anymore... Any idea how you guys are going to fix the transparent thing?
15. Does making a ramp for vehicles in the SPH to get off the runway count as "cool"? I might wanna submit my design, but the last Weight Dispenser Vehicle that tried to use it was too heavy... Now there's pieces of panel where it used to be.
16. Fast reply, thanks! I always thought it would stabilize the craft, not actually push it off the ground. One more question, does the weight of the craft carrying the load or the weight of the load impact the tractor beam's pull/hold efficiency?
17. Sorry, to clarify, forget the side-mounted lights. Apparently the imgur image gallery embedding was something new to me so all I had left was that image. Wanted to show off that fuel truck I made. But even with the included headlights I can't mount them on any of the fenders/couplers thing.
18. I have absolutely no idea on how to use the tractor beam's "hover" effect. One ship in the SPH tried it, flipped nose up 90 degrees (it was a VTOL mind you), and crashed. Same thing with a second design. I've given up on my Cargo Lifter until I know how to use the tractor beam's "Hover". On a side not the topic dosen't seem to list anywhere how to use "Hover" and "Lift" at the same time. :/
19. How did you mount the headlights on the fenders/couplers/white whatever they are called?
20. OMG SO that's how you do it?? Mine had it's COT right smack on top of the COM. I'll post results when I modify my chopper. EDIT: It works! Now I must remember to put the COT NEAR the COM, not on top of it!
21. Sorry, forgot to mention I'm using Damned Aerospace. I'll get a screenshot of it tomorrow morning. It's late here.
