I really enjoy the game, but lately I haven't been feeling motivated to try anything... I'm pretty competent in my skills/ability to visit the various celestial bodies and don't really have any interest in using mods (except maybe kethane?) I've played most of Bio's campaign missions but even still I'm getting bored again. That's where YOU come in. I've been doing streaming for various games and KSP is no exception. I want to start a series of "community request" missions that come from the forums, for the forums. I'll try just about anything you guys can come up with, weather you're new and need an explanation of a plane change, or experienced and want to tell me that you don't think I can land ON jool without using quicksave. Keep in mind I plan to keep my installation completely stock with the possible exception of kethane mod in the future. Hit me with your best shot.

I may try kethane to support realistic situations for interplanetary returns, but at the moment I have always run completely stock. That being said, I have visited every planet but moho, and visited ike, and orbited all of Jool's moons... it can be done stock without mech jeb.

Based on your screenshots, it doesn't look lined up correctly. First screenshot indicates Jool is very near vertical, and a little west of the launch site, second shot shows Jool almost *if over the western horizon.

Getting to the moon and landing in 4.5 minuts would expel enough delta V to land on Jool and return.

Not to sound pompous, but I have never used the quicksave/load feature ever, either. Launch to land, 1 try.

If I'm understanding, the OP wants to be in a kebol orbit equal to that of kerbin, but behind it by a phase angle of a few degrees.

Why not allow unlimited time accel, but have the contests decided by actual mission time? That way a stream of say 8 people doing a mun race might only take 20 minutes, but the scores are decided by the actual mission time in KSP. Edit: I would GLADLY participate.

4.5 minutes is an average speed of about 40KM/s not counting the time it would take to get up to (or slow down from) that speed...

This isn't difficult even with stock no mods on .13 Just last night in .17 I landed on the Mun and flew back to kerbin to land with the same 2.5 tanks of fuel

All you need is a typical lander with enough thrust to negate kerbin's gravity, it's not that complex.

Does BFR stand for the same things that BFG stands for in doom?

I'm only seeing a maximum of 425 pts including the achievements if you get the EVA achievement once per mission. Unless you can get 1 eva per landing, then it's a maximum of 485 pts.
