  1. Probably in the future releases. Heres a small update: A bit of steep-slope testing (they work great).
  2. fuel powered tracks is a possibility, as for the wall-e tracks, they won't be in the initial release, but maybe in future updates.
  3. By modular tracks would you mean a set of modular structural pieces to go with the tracks? I'm not sure how the tracks themselves could work in the same fashion.
  4. I've never been a fan of re-using someone elses models in my own projects, and (excluding the first design, which was a bit experimental) the designs I have planned for release are all inspired by existing designs. The tracks in the latest video were heavily inspired by warhammer tracks and smaller rubber tracks.
  5. I gave the new set a quick test run this morning...Bob got some grazes on his head as a result.
  6. This set is designed to be pretty solid, with the added bonus of working upside-down for 2-way vehicles.
  7. Ah, I thought I missed something better than that.
  8. This is what I see every time I read the thread title:
  9. I feel like I missed something major...Im sorry?
  10. New set incoming (Ignore the current texture funkiness).
  11. It should be noted that there were 8 sets of tracks on the tank, and the cargo-pieces are pretty light for their size. I'll do another test with some heavier parts later.
  12. It looks like some kind of boundaries issue going on whenever this happens, like the entire building area has shifted relative to the mouse position for whatever reason.
  13. We are still balancing the tracks a bit. The turning is a little tricky to get just right.
  14. Heres another teaser, using the B9 pack with the tracks (because I love the B9 pack, its fantastic), because I am a nice guy.
  15. Glad you like them, Ill be making a couple more sets this week and hopefully release the first pack soon.
  16. Id also reccomend cutting down the poly count here, and baking the normals onto the low poly version. And for unwrapping the UV's to a more efficient layout, I reccomend Roadkill.
  17. Im curious about this, but Id have no idea how youd make any stock-only computer in KSP.
  18. Behold, the first set of tracks are texturi-fied! Bob seems indifferent about the blatant awesome behind him.
  19. It worries me that Nasa employees play KSP. I have friends who drive rather badly after playing certain racing games for a few hours...this can only lead me to think that after a few hours of playing KSP, the ISS will be de-orbited for the atmospheric re-entry effects.
  20. My new heavy ground transporter using the B9 pack with the caterpillar tracks mod currently in development, with 3 chambers for various vehicles. Doubles as a solar recharging station and home base.

  22. I'd personally do a shuttle-style ascent, with a few of the orange tank/mainsail combos with asparagus staging. As for the descent, lots of parachutes and those little radial engines.
