  1. I call this one: The Kardashian, for obvious reasons. 8) Went 'splode immediately. :'(
  2. Hmm, I'm bored so I think I will use this as a 'Kerbal Criminal Transportation Device' to launch their convicted felons into orbit with no hope of return. ;P
  3. Thanks for the response. Gonna get some more practice in now. ETA: Success with the SP parts! Thanks again.
  4. I hear ya on the wind! Kansas has wind ALL the time, and we're at 40+ days of triple digit heat right now. At least the desert was dry- the humidity can suck at times, but at least it's not as bad as the Gulf states!
  5. Has a video or any other kind of tutorial ever been posted to help with the installation of panels? I'm having a PITA time trying to get them to work right. Once, ONCE, I was able to get one to work with Sunday Punch's 2m panels. I DL'd Wulf's, (http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=611.0) but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them set right. They always want to attach halfway up whatever shroud/adapter I'm using. Any help or advice?
  6. Ironic, since I was born and grew up in/around Palmdal . Palmdale? Cool, I'm from Lancaster! However, I live in Kansas now (since '99). Gotta love the stuff that comes out of Plant 42. Anyway, about my I.D... I used to fly Beechcraft King Airs (90 and 350), among other business planes. I now instruct in the C90GTx. I started using KingAirDriver years ago when I started flying them and it stuck!
  7. Poo, KSP won't load for me since I installed your parts. Anyone else have this issue or know a way around it? I know I can go uninstall them, but I really want to try them out. :'( Nevermind! Fiddled around a bit more and looks like it's working now.
  8. Yep, mine was overkill, lol. Got into orbit and still had some fuel left in the two large tanks, so that following stage wasn't touched. What did Tim 'the Tool Man' Taylor always say? More power!!!! 8)
  9. Forgot to take screenshots of the whole mission, but here it is around 48 mins in or so. Orbit is pretty stable around 170km. ;D Sorry for the screenshot crop fail. Edited to add new pics: 'Intrepid' on the launchpad: At least the Kerbacopters won't have to fly too far to get the brave crew:
  10. Just finished a 10+ hr orbit at about 80-85km. Left if running while at work.
  11. Just wanted to introduce myself. I started playing KSP a few days ago, and recently figured out how to add new parts into the game... My problem: Does anyone have a part to protect me from an over-heating wife? When I play this game too long, she tends to over-heat and has the potential to explode, lol. ;D Anyway, this game is great!
