  1. In case you didn't exactly notice, there is no video.
  2. when using an escape pod, try and make it as sleek to the rest of your station as possible, if it isn't sticking out, you're good, for the most part, what I try to do, if I have the patience and determination, is put the escape pod inside it's own little box made out of those 2x2 panels and have it fly away violently when it's time to bounce. my biggest collision was with my station getting hit with a rogue empty fuel tank, it was the long one with the black stripes, don't remember the name, amazingly, no kerbal life was lost, but a lot of work was, i mean, I COULD have just reverted back about five minutes and made an adjustment, but that was too cheaty for me. station got cut in three, one cut from the tank, and another one from my escape pod box, about 30 secs later (only had jeb on at the time, since I was about to bring a new crew of 8 men onboard, spooky, I know) but that save was lost, but I did send a few missions to go check out the wreckage, (the ship was armored to the teeth, even the engine had plates around it) it was amazingly eerie.
  3. i like career mode for the fact it makes you use the "lesser" parts, I've gotten further into the sol-ar system than ever before, and without those ludicrous mainsails, spaceballs is an awesome movie
  4. the farthest i've gotten has,c uriously, only been in career mode, I guess since it forces you to use lighter and smaller parts, it helps you make better rockets, I've gone only manned to the mun, but I've got probes on the mun, minmus, and duna, it's funny, how using "low level" parts can get you farther than having everything, (still gonna try and redo the interplanetary supership I had going in .21, I got rid of everything for .22)
  5. i was able to balance it out early on in the campaign with a girder piece and a stayputnik, looked kinda funky, but it served it's purpose, also handy for when you want to leavy a kerb on a different planed and come back for him later (I will go back for Jeb, just later)
  6. see, the way I see it, Jeb isn't scared of sitting on multiple tons of explosives, he's just scared of the fact those explosives didn't work that particular time, but if there're no nucular(yes, nucular) explosions going off, he's a cheery little mofo.
  7. of course, I used fraps and exported it from Windows movie maker. Might make another entry later today...
  8. well, they guy above me won, maybe I'll give it another go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMtLHzPlchw&feature=youtube_gdata
  9. the upload is going to have to wait, there's a level 1 hurricane forming where I am, and my internet is crap to begin with, and my mum wants to watch netflix, so I have to wait. frowny face. (the video will go in this post when it's ready)
  10. stuck in orbit around the mun, and has been for 2 years and 164 days, poor guy, I'll get him, eventually.
  11. I did it in 2 mins 40. I'm uploading the video now, will post it soon
  12. Well, Jeb got stranded in orbit around the Mun, so I sent Bill to go get him, now I have 2 kerbs stuck in space (both ships were made extremely early in my career, and have no docking ports or anything, and are both in extremely weird orbits, I have no idea how I'm gonna rescue them) but, that's enough background for what happened. Jeb was going to land on the Mun, Jeb soon realized he only had 5 units of fuel and his separatrons left. being the genius Jeb is, he was able to make munar orbit again. it's not as extreme as throwing him out of a ship mid-launch, but it was pretty intense when it happened
  13. well the ksp weekly is usually out by now, so dream on.
