I did a test to see if this bug was still in the game after 2 or more years and looking forward to playing with my new cpu only to be disapointed to see this game screwing bug is still there. Surely this is a totaly reproducable bug and i reported it years ago. Am i the only one who gets this(somehow over 2 years and diffrent versions...) or are they really missing somthing so simple?

Just like to say love the mod thanks.

easiest way is get CPU-Z has a simple benchmark with comparisons. also I have the a 4core AMD and it runs ksp fine. Do you have remotetech installed that causes alot of stutters. Edit: when you used memgraph did you change the graph size, to64mb or more otherwise the lines don't show up.

[1.2.x/1.3] MemGraph 1.1.0.3 - with Stutter Reduction
joebopie replied to Padishar's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thanks for that info, its good to know that it might get some improvement in some way. The only thing that really bothers me, is why did it suddenly become a thing that we noticed only in the U5 update. Before that all that really happened when I added more mods was a lower frame rate. but I do not remember stutters of any kind. we seem to have exchanged a smooth lower FPS with a higher FPS with stutters. -

Anybody got any new news on weather squad is working on this problem.? Its sad because KSP would be basically a perfect game if it didn't have this problem. but now its just a stutter fest of frustration....... -
Have a quick read of that. If you have Remote tech installed that most likely the main cause. Its not RT's fault more how the game is handling code(something changed in unity 5.x.x ) the more things on screen and the more mods running code the worse it gets. Grab the mod from that page and basically if the red lines on the graph coincide with the skips then that's the problem.

Game lags every few seconds
joebopie replied to SpacedInvader's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
This is still happening and so far I've not seen anything to suggest they know about it or are trying to fix it.... this makes the performance improvements of U5 totally irrelevant as now get lag spikes. -

After installing the Dev version of Farram aerospace from Github it seems to have broken B9 procedural wings. one's i previously made show in the editor, but when launched end up the basic rectangle they start as and they seem to have zero aero properties. when i click show wing data, all values are at 0. when i create a new wing no menu comes up if i right click on it. clicking J on a wing does nothing. I've been looking but I've not seen anybody else mention this.

you mean this page? http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/projects/ksp. if so thats fair enough if i knew that it existed, i do now but i had to ask to find out it existed. and yes i did search for a while. I meant making it hard for us because its called something different than what it is on pretty much every other game site. It could still be called ( or labelled as) a bug tracker, as that is what it pretty much is. thanks for the replies
-
like i said I did look for it and there is no BUG report section is there. its under technical support.... witch in every other place means help to get it working. not for submitting bug reports. Neither is there a list of "known bugs" its called Explore Questions. why make it hard for people? so you --- !!! please read before posting !!! thanks, but so really there is no proper bug tracker for us regular folk. I thought squad was better than that.(I really did)

with a v simple craft using the MK1 cockpit. after going eva I realised that the craft was spinning. (when it wasn't before hitting the EVA button) so i got back inside and stopped the spin with some SAS. then the moment i hit EVA and my kerbal is holding the ladder the craft is spinning again. so i checked the map and notice that my PE and my AP are going down together at about 20meters a second. I've tested this out with a few similar craft but with no luck recreating it. but this one craft always does it. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92121741/broken 1.craft this craft is all stock parts but the install does have mods this is the Ckan file. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92121741/ckan list2.ckan Edit, I've been unable to recreate the problem with a brand new craft but if I use craft that was having the problem to begin with its always there even when I reorganise the parts of the lander and remake it with new bits it still spins. I also saved it under a different name and change the root part.
