  1. I doubt that is the case for Duna, but usually you can change the location of the burn by moving to the node editor, and placing it at apoapsis or periapsis...Now,I hope,the last post on page 100 wont be overlooked, I really want this to work properly..

Hello gents, a quick bug report, I was using 2.0.6 (havent noticed 2.0.7 was released), well the bug is, I have just decoupled my Eve transfer stage from my probe + lander payload, and I wanted to see some reentry flames, so I switched to it...when it crashed into the surface it still had a velocity of 65m/s, orbital velocity 80-something-ish, and I couldnt end flight or change vessels...there goes 1 hour of trying to figure out how to bring mechjeb to transfer to inner planets...
  3. zomg!Im not interested in the LEM...doesnt fit with my Soviet Space Program, but a crew shuttle with the CSM does sound possible...It looks like it s gonna be worth it
  4. Is there any chance youd change the 30x engine into 30 engines to place?or just give us a single engine version, for those peeps who have computers which dont have trouble running 30 engines at a time... (oh yeah,and a 30x1 adapter plate would be awesome ofcourse)

Ugh,it deleted your topic?,Well anyways,for anyone interested,you can mate the Soyuz together with standard parts,If you: a)set the rescale factor of soyuz parts to = 1.085 b)install Kosmos Salyut pack, and take the 1.5m to 1m and 1.5m to 2m taper Hope this helps someone,I needed ages to make this work and look nice (dont want to use the original soyuz propulsion block,370s is too low for me,and its not modular)

  8. so, today i DL-ed mechjeb, and instantly took my Ciklon Mk IV (my ciklon has around 9 versions, lol, 8 of which were designed for the mun, and 1 for multi-chute development,and funnily enough, atleast 5 of em can leave Sun SoI ) for a mission , and picked jool, i didnt managed to circularize my orbit so that it was some 100.000 to 13.000km ,and then i hit laythe and i managed to land on it unpowered by the way, am i the only one who feels scared when looking into jool from laythe?   9. wow...just wow... how you did that... thank you very much, gonna give the mods and your method a shot (its not like i got an option, for now the only objects i can get into gravitational SoI without problems are the Sun,Mun ,and Jool)
  10. i tried getting to eve 5-6 times, each time i start burning exactly at the ejection angle , the phase angle is just right, and still i get closer to duna then to eve...
  11. umm, i dont believe that list is quite... precise... i mean, i cant believe someone is going to do an update only about sound stuff... honestly id like em to add into game some sort of interface to intercept other bodies, i mean, sure ,we got that calculator, we got mechjeb (i suppose, i dont use it, acctually, i only read in posts it exists) and some other plugins for phase angles etc., but people like me mess it up to the point that an eve intercept, with 0.03 degrees of phase angle missed,and 10 degrees of that ejection angle ,with same speed, im still not even touching eve orbit, actually, im on my way out somewhere between mars and jupiter... i understand that most people out here have a brain, but hell, i dont, and jeb hasnt either, we need help from our program

  14. well , i did managed a low orbit , 10km around the mun already with this, huh guys thank you a lot for your help, that LV-909 tip was priceless, didnt knew its so good thogh theres one question left... is it even possible to bleed all my speed from some 550 m/s at a height of 14,000m ? because it seems that my fall on the ground of the mun,the 1st time, was pretty slow in terms of falling, but i probably had some naughty sideways slip... hmm, ill try to find something, really hooked on this game already EDIT: i managed to land on it ( though i was so nervous i havent looked at my retrograde very often, which resulted in losing all my 250l of fuel on the braking part , and i acctually got out of fuel and splashed with some 20-40 m/s on it... but everything survived... also, i did the noobish thing of leaving my RCS on in the ascent stage... wouldve helped a lot to get the landing straight... oh well...) ,shortly after that i tried to escape the mun with my 1st rocket in orbit around it, so, with 600l for the poodle, i just barely managed to shrink my periapsis from 11 millions to 0 , and my apoapsis was acctually outside of minmus so i fell down into the atmosphere with 3000 m/s and braked some 500-600 m/s with 200l of the fuel left... huh ,was fun cant wait to get better in the game )
  15. holy ***** , and this works ? :O wow, if i knew how great that LV-909 is... WOW... so ,now im orbiting the mun with 500 m/s ,Ap 14,000 m (not km, meters), Pe is 12,000 and with 250l fuel left, hmm... will try to figure out what to do now (no fun having it said , to me atleast )

  17. im sorry for opening yet another thread , but currently im really frustrated with the Mun , this time i just spinned on my 8 landing legs at 30 m/s , and when the command pod touched with these 30 m/s the ground it exploded, after which all other parts exploded aswell... anyone to give me a hint (i dont really need help with the orbiting method, i just go straight up and wait for a mun intercept (i dont really care if its going to slide 10-20km just to get to the mun, if it does )? PS: my rocket : Chute Mk 1 Command Pod T18A ASAS Brand Adapter Rockomax X-200-32 (radially mounted 8 landing legs , and 8 LV-45Ts each with 800l fuel) Poodle Brand Decoupler X-200-32 X-200-32 (radially mounted 8 LV-30Ts with 800l fuel each) Mainsail

So, this is my rocket So, the soviet anthem plays, the massive 7 mainsails and 6 BACCs start, seconds later the BACCs pop off just to be replaced by 12 new ones, after these pop off , we got about 3200 litres for each Mainsail, all fine and dandy,right? So i accelerate towards 2200 m/s , and then it happens, 8 LV-45Ts and a Poodle launch , and guess what, instantly it starts flipping over and rolling like mad, 8 RCS thrusters dont do anything ASAS either... so,i have to 1st coast ,then decouple the worthless fuel tanks n engines , and then,as a "reward" it goes "just" 45* in the wrong direction... and in the end... i feel that a simple "up to the mun" is impossible... ;.;
