shadowsutekh replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I love that there's a real discussion going here, but make sure that a discussion on aerodynamics doesn't kill or overtake the thread being about FAR- 14,073 replies

Nice to see you around!

There is no comic sans, only text. The font is just an illusion.

Stuck for discussion and visibility

It's not a lot of work, I just don't like people thinking they can post whatever they want just because they may be upset because they took something poorly.
-
I know that everyone is dealing with this joke differently, but if you guys could not start flame wars with each other that would be great. Please don't get hostile with each other here, that is against the rules. We are watching the thread, so don't post things that would get you in trouble.

Mission won't complete

Moved to gameplay questions -
Sorry about that, when you're a new user I think you need somewhere between 3-5 posts to get post status without being in the moderation queue where we have to manually check the posts. When you edited the post, I had to find it in the queue and reapprove it. I hope you weren't waiting too long. On the topic of your work, I must say, it's very clear you put a lot of time and thought into them and it shows!

The universe collapses in on itself through a divide by zero error. But as vexx said, we have to keep to the rules. What's the point in having them if the people upholding them can't stand out as examples of how to conduct yourself? It hasn't ever happened in a year and 6 months of my being a moderator here. But that's one reason why we have senior moderators and administrators and Kasper and rowsdower to watch over everything including us regular moderators. I would imagine said hypothetical moderator would get an extremely stern talking to, and probably a probationary period and if it continued, removal of moderator authority and potential banishment the same as every other forum user here. Having never seen that happen though, I can't be 100% sure, but breaking the rules isn't likely to be encountered.

It's been fun using your stuff and watching it change for the last two years.
-
*sigh* thanks Kasper. I'm dragging Supernovy with me.

Just one more thing to add on this at least in the United States, do not ever point a laser at an airplane on the ground or in the air, and do not ever point a laser at a police officer. Both of those are fairly serious crimes and can carry fines or up to a 5 year prison sentence.

Guys please remember to keep modern politics and especially religion out of threads like this and elsewhere on the forums. Those two topics tend to derail and cause some hostility completely unrelated to the initial discussion. I'm going to leave it open for continued discussion, but the thread is being watched.
-
I think this looks great
-
As aphox stated on the first page: Feel free to watch the news elsewhere on the internet though.

Glad you were able to find it.

Just a warning, I've seen some pretty off topic things in this thread. Please keep it on topic for what the thread is about, namely cool looking vehicles and non-rp kerbal based combat and explosions. Chat threads aren't really allowed, there have been some really bad experiences with those in the past. Public discussion of bans and moderator decisions in relation to anything on the forums is not allowed, and what got someone banned isn't really a matter of public record. You can ask a user themselves privately, but the reasons behind a punishment need to stay private. If you have questions on something moderation related, please contact a member of the moderation staff within the KSP network ex: pms or the KSP irc. Insults directed at forums staff or other users are not allowed either. Just because it's a good idea, here's a link so you can read the rules. Anyways, don't forget to have fun!
