UNfortunately this is useless to me, since my designs are completely different. I wouldnt need ingame tool form of this, but at least to know the trick, to make it work.
-
Power module, crew module, HUB (4way), docking ring, escape pod(s), comm tower, science module, storage module.
-
Well I used same launcher/lifter for about 60+ launches to kerbins orbit with cargo and stuff, does that count?
-
Yep, moho is the most challenging planet to get to, short trave distance but shiatloads of DV to break there.

Hi there, wouldnt it be cool to maybe have a topic to share savegames? ofc list of mods would have to included, but I would be curious to see different ... plays...

TIL Docking is 10x easier and a lot more fun in 3D

Well technically its totally possible to make video out of this. I wonder if youtube would recognize it as 3D... -

How do you turn it on actually? I know that stereoscopic 3D is far better ofc, but I would like to try this for few games perhaps, just for lols. In my nvidia control panel i see only "set up stereoscopic 3d" nothing about anaglyph 3D... :/ PS: so it is there.. just run set up wizzard for dummies and then you can run KSp and its in 3D -

Oh man, oh man! Look at a size of it! -
low poly is low poly. you dont need to waste time to make landmarks typical to human cities, just bunch of cube buildins, various types, and place cities around. Hell it could even be a texture only and i wouldnt mind. From orbit seeing glowing cities and such.

Kethane. Where and how do I find it.
elkar replied to Goatgas's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
in that case, just turn off landing AP in the final descending stage and do the rest manually or using translatron. Therefore you will be very close to your target with MJ precise steering and you will land. Also in latest dev build they say this landing bug is fixed (horizontal speed bug) -
Chat with ppl on KLF or just looking at their screenshots.

[0.20.2] Mission Controller v0.10 (06/24/2013) [ALPHA]
elkar replied to nobody44's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
you should hire someone to make up a plot for those missions as a progressive KSP like an actual space program rather than missions with no depth. -
Can you add some useful numbers (tech spec) in the original post? I mean Im not 12yo to pick up my lifters by eyes only.
-
gonna definitely get it soon. i dont expect kerbals to be EVAing for hours but still.

How do you transfer electricity?
elkar replied to Confuzion's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Yes that and if its a night-time you are having problem with, then RTGs are the answer. -
Chase camera is useful, i use it all the time but When you have payload on top of the lifter then you need those docking ports rightfuly orientated with your RCS and if you are using docking camera it also matters.

I was thinking about how would a "serious" kerbal flag looks like. Like.. we had USA flag on moon or whatever... I can imagine that Kerbin as a planet can be a one huge state, confederation or something like that, so there wouldnt be 200+ different states, only regions with regional goverment, just basicaly system you have in US or in west EU, which can work obviously well. What would such flag looks like then? Stars and stripes representating regions/states , green or different? What do you think? PS: Because one does not simply use KSP default flag, since its dull to put such a flag anywhere. Imagine that first flag on moon would be flag of NASA with "US space program" title.

Bump.. I was wondering if this form of "story telling" is near to interesting for at least some people or if actual videos with kerbal chatter would be better..?

elkar replied to Mathiaz's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
there is no point doing that anyway since we have big docking port now.
