  1. So far I have This: I don't know how to improve on it to make it a orbital rocket, any tips?
  2. I also dont know how to make a launch vehicle "around" the cargo , I have never done that before.
  3. Nope, using the exact same config. (no change in thrust)
  4. Well ive turned down terrain detail to minimum, and render quality to minimum. Still happens.
  5. I have launched this exact same payload before with this kind of lifter, but i just have no idea why it doesn't work now.
  6. I am launching a propulsion module for my interplanetary vehicle, but when i use the single mainsail section of the asparagus, it collapses. I just want to deliver this to a 100km equatorial orbit! Here is a pic of the rocket, and the .craft file. Pic: .craft file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fitp637kqtl18ie/Propulsion%20module.craft (it's stock .20) I really need help with this!
  7. I am having a problem, whenever i look at kerbin, it lags! When i am looking at the sky, it is totally fine. Are there any settings I could change? (in the example below i used a 8 part ship to show that part count has nothing to do with it) Pic: Pic: Here is the computer i am using: http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/model/DT.GDDAA.012 Please Help!
  8. I just decided to remove the docking port, that can be readded by the person who downloads it.
  9. The batterys, really have negligible weight, compared to the wheels and panels.
  10. I haven't fitted the port yet, but I will.
  11. The Surge rover is a rover i have developed to use at my munar base (in construction), i will post a pic of it there when the base is completed and it is delivered. The Surge rover is a battery powered rover that is meant for a bit of realism, not having solar panels everywhere, but being battery powered, and meant to be refilled by a hub. Pics: Top Rear Speed: 20 m/s Range: 30 km Weight: 3.1 tons Capacity: 3 Kerbals Turning radius: less than runway's width .Craft File: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x4wisgyme5kwmxj/Munar%20Rover%20MK1.craft edit: removed docking port
  12. Im using the Skipper for alot of my orbital injection stages, that need a bit of TWR, but a bit of efficiency tacked on.
  13. I just love the Skipper engine. It is finally the engine to link the poodle and the mainsail! with 650 kn of thrust and 350 ISP in vacuum it is just like a mini-mainsail! Thanks Devs! Below you guys can discuss about the Rockomax "Skipper" Engine! In other news........ Thanks again!
  14. where is the official reddit for ksp?
  15. My newest in-space-construction vehicle , leaves 12 pieces of debris in orbit around Kerbin and leaves a uncrewed, uncontrollable lander, around the body it is landing on. So for that 3 section ship it leaves 13 pieces of debris. I routinely see debris come within loading range. (2.5 km)
  16. 'Good, i have 8k m/s of delta-V
  17. wow, awesome. Can't wait to get my KSP channel up........
  18. I have wondered, i want to know how much delta-v it takes to get to Jool and back. I have a spacecraft which i think can make it but i just want to confirm. So what is the delta-v required from a 100 km equatorial Kerbin orbit? (not including launch, the vehicle i am using is assembled in space)
  19. What do you mean fuel and oxidzer? Model rocket engines don't have seperate fuel and oxidzer in them.
  20. It's a good hobby, I would reccomend one of the estes rockets E2X for beginners. Only probably a hour of assembly to give you a taste of building. They can also fly in small areas. biggest commercial motor I have seen has 2.5 tons of thrust! The standard engines have about 2 pounds to 3 pounds of thrust. ( don't quote me, may vary)
  21. Does anybody know the Delta-V to Laythe orbit, my lander has 3.3k m/s of delta-v, ive been wondering if this is enough.
  22. I already have three missions planned out. I'm gonna do jool orbital, laythe orbital, and laythe landing.
