  1. Is there a good way to stick the little HL side fuselages onto an S2 fuselage?
  2. A fix was posted on reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1j35h2/i_recompiled_kerbal_engineer_redux_to_work_with_21/
  3. That's with FAR, and by overpowered I mean unrealistic. Deploying the brakes would have increased the surface area exposed to the airstream by maybe 5%, not 700%.
  4. B9's airbrakes are quite overpowered. Watching Kerbal Engineer as I deployed just two airbrakes on my space shuttle, it went from 200N to 1.4 kN drag.
  5. The new SAS and the flight computer each have their own distinct uses. Keep the flight computer, just without commandeering the T button.
  6. With the nice SAS in .21, RemoteTech's flight computer will really need to stop intercepting the SAS button for its own killrot routine.
  7. What kind of news are you looking for? Looking at this thread its easy to tell ProgCom is being actively developed and discussed.
  8. Note that a short period of positive vertical velocity is normal entering an atmosphere - it was part of the Apollo flight plan even. I wouldn't have expected it with the vehicle and orientation show in the screenshots, though.
  9. What are the odds of at least a preview alpha release coinciding with .21?
  10. Not specifically about FAR, but I figured the people looking at this thread might be likely to know - why do real-world tailless designs like the f117a, b2, and x36 tend to have triangular notches cut out of the rear of what would otherwise be straight delta wings?
  11. Is there an HL to 3.75m adapter? I thought there was but couldn't find it when I needed one.
  12. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/35399-The-Space-Shuttle
  13. Fairly often, when I try to pick something up with a magnet, it snaps it up so hard it recoils back off the magnet. Has anyone experienced or solved this?
  14. I think the B9 space shuttle I recently posted is the highest fidelity shuttle that's been done without bespoke replica shuttle parts. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/35399-The-Space-Shuttle
  15. Parachutes have a number of configurable parameters in the part.cfg.
  16. Don't want it easier, huh? Try Ferram Aerospace, Deadly Reentry, Ioncross Crew Support, RemoteTech, and AmpYear
  17. I can't find any source code for the Infernal version.
  18. For the fuel you could write to it the number of a fuel tank and it would write back the fuel in that tank.
  19. A verisimilitudinous space shuttle. Full album Craft file Launch procedure is on the B9 info drive on the craft. Required mods: B9 KW Rocketry KSPX Procedural Dynamics Modular Fuels /w Real Fuels option Damned Robotics Ioncross Crew Support Ferram Aerospace RemoteTech
  20. There doesn't seem to be any facility for memory remapping or partitioning, but the timer interrupt is all you need for multitasking. There's enough to work with that someone could implement stdlib and a POSIX system, if they were inclined.
  21. ASAS is already integrated in the engine. The part just says "do that ASAS thing".
  22. If the goal is DIY, proceed. If you just want some ion attitude control, AmpYear has it.
