considering 32 bit memory limits. And that ksp is around 1.2 gb atm, and taken into consideration of amount of memory a single asteroid could take around 4-5k I guess. I'm only guessing here.

Final build thoughts
Dedjal replied to Dimetime35c's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I think that the final build will be filled with bloatware and laggy. Unity just is not made for these kind of things. -
does this mean that they are able to lift itself?

I got bored and took a break. Returned after a month or two, browsed through mods and installed the ones that I thought would enhance my gameplay. Recently installed interstellar mod, which have increased gameplay value by alot.

Tweaking science gain from transmission. How?
Dedjal replied to Dedjal's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Superb! Thank you! -
I am trying to find the cfg file where I can tweak how much science I can transmit, before it locks up and yields no more. I am not talking about the sciencedefs.cfg (unless I missed a line). For example. Transmitting science will only yield a maximum 80%. To get the rest of the 20%, you will have to take it back to Kerbal. Where can I change those percentages?

And when they have paid you to get it up there, you push it down so that they have to order a new one. Muhaha

compensate for the asymetrical thrust by adding a shuttle on the other side aswell, tada. Haha. But yes. Designing a shuttle in .22 was a bit more difficult than .23. And OP said that it wasn't stock, so... Tada! I "made" a shuttle in less than 5 minutes! All I had to do was to download the soviet pack

The developers will continue to add more stuff to ksp, until it reaches the point that any form of endgame is out of the question because of the lag. Just look at SoaSE. Look at it gooood. That is what ksp will experience.

Jeb forgot to throw the gum in the trashcan instead of out the window.

Am I understanding this correctly? Mission to capture an asteroid?
Dedjal replied to Whackjob's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'll most likely use KAS and tow it, or mount rockets on it. -
The Main Problem With Kerbal Space Program Is....
Dedjal replied to NeoMorph's topic in KSP1 Discussion
my complain about this game is that I now feel... Irritated(?) every time I watch a space movie and they thrust towards the planet in order to decend -
Rotate sr. Docking port in space

make clone of ship with the parts the right way. Open persistant file and replace the new craft over the old one. -
What was your first flight to Eeloo like? BTW Happy 2014!
Dedjal replied to GamerMitch's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I do not understand how people manage to do so much and go so far on so little fuel. Ssto's. Half an hour flight before they get into orbit. How do they manage it!? My planes run out of juice before I lose sight of the ksc. My first trip to Eelo, aswell as returning, took orbital assembly of a giant ship. Lander, return vessel and a little rover, strapped upon 3 orange tanks of fuel. It still had to refuel on the way back. Phase angles, time of departure, asparagus thingie etc. All on the paper. I do all those things. It still eats fuel like an hungry ogre. I do not use mainsail nor skipper in my designs. I keep beneath the thermal velocity or what it is called. I'm almost willing to bet that the amount of fuel that I tend to use for going to the mun and back is what people would normally use on a field trip to Moho. So seeing the OPs design makes me jealous well done. -
Navball is your friend. Use rcs to keep your decend steady and nullify any sideway movements. I usually only watch the altitude meter and navball. Unless landing a plane.

Yes. Kerbin has alot of biodomes where you can gather research points. Grassplains, mountains, polar caps, desert, water just to name a few. I do not know for certain, but maybe the wiki site has information about how and where. Edit: I tend to just send a spaceship out of the kerbin system, do eva, report etc. That tends to give me enough points to get solar panels for prolonged journeys.

There will probably be some bugs appearing right before release, so they need to hold back the patch for another week
-
What will be the first thing you will do in 0.23?
Dedjal replied to astropapi1's topic in KSP1 Discussion
launch pod, crew report, collect stuff from the launch pad, do an EVA report and retrieve it. Unlock science and start launching stuff. -
Efficient Kerbin Escape
Dedjal replied to ScottyDoesKnow's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Most efficient would be if you could manage to get gravital assist from mun and minimus. Besides from that, I have no idea. -
go into the files for the parts and change their size. Problem solved

Only had one. I had managed to get the maincore for my station up into orbit and put the leftover fueltanks and rockets on a deorbit path. I then proceeded to launch a module of habitats etc. During my ascend stage, I could see a fireball coming in my direction, ramming the mainsail on one of my outter fueltank and tearing it off. I quickly separated the fueltanks and managed to get it to orbit. The stage I had to drop was just about empty anyway.

I am a bit puzzled. Our sun "Sol" is not big enough, so it can not fusion things together through pressure and heat. But, the pressure packs the atoms together tightly and the heat makes them vibrate, so through quantum mechanics, fusion happens. Because there are billions upon billions of atoms, some are bound to hit eachothers through the quantum effect, thus fusing them together. Atleast, that's what I've learned.
