    It's cancelled man, we're not doing it. EDIT: TESTED HTV's ORBITAL ENGINES, has high ISP in atmosphere, the 1000 monoprop got it into orbit.

    I point it towards Kerbin, and use a decouple node and activate english that decouples it from the node and sends it into kerbin's atmosphere.

    I fail launches a lot with the gravity turn, it works perfectly, as well as orions. The LES is helpful, if you could find someone to write a plugin, you could likely have the math done to sometimes fail a launch, like fuel deprivement or loss, many things.
