  1. Wow that's awesome Are those stock flags or a decal add on? And that's not Ven's retexture is it? Just demonstrates the limits of my artistic talent. Never once occurred to me to make a triangular graphic to fit a conical shape
  2. Pssst..... You're supposed to leave that one bit behind....
  3. Ahh, and finally, I'm all caught up. Once again, KSK, can't say much that hasn't already been said, and your attention to detail re: MACE innards is astounding. But now I get to jump on the MOAR! Bandwagon too!
  4. @Ser if there is I haven't seen it. Seems like it would fit right in with this. Maybe activate it completely separately from the stock one?
  5. I've been mostly relying on my CHAOS net, which basically involves sticking antennae & solar panels on the spent upper stage and leaving it in low orbit. But as you can see, it inevitably bunches up & leaves gaps. Also, contract made me an offer I couldn't refuse. True Geosynchronous from 43* is quite a pain, tho. According to MJ's porkchop, it's only a couple hundred m/s more than the most efficient window, but that would have meant waiting in orbit several days more, and I didn't want to test boiloff rates . 300 12-hour days to Duna sounds about right just guesstimating, gotta love those low transfer times to the inner planets tho. Landing on Duna with a comm delay, now that's a problem that still needs solving. I look forward to seeing that . 20 tons is looking like the practical limit of 2.5m parts, might squeeze a little more out with better engines, but I was already well into 3.75-m parts for 25+ tonnes in the old KSA save. Realfuels booster much more efficient! @boccelounge & @PanzerAce thanks & thanks . I can only take half the credit for the visuals, Scatterer does the hard part, I just end up in the right place at the right time.
  6. This... this.... this is just amazing. I LOL'd and now people are staring. At least the form lets me like again!
  7. By chance, could you add a way to visualize the center of mass that's more precise like this, rather than that huge useless stock bubble?
  8. So then, a B-32.5? How'd you get the front so nicely rounded?
  9. I'm all out of likes for the day, but nice B-36(?)
  10. It's still an as-yet unflown design with significant enough changes to necessitate its own dedicated launch pad. All while SpaceX has to maintain its existing manifest at the same time.
  11. The major failure last summer that's delayed EVERYTHING. Evolution is a slow process. this is all new technology, not like the Atlas that's been around for 50+ years.
  12. Sounds like it can all be traced back to that boat. Someone needs a paddlin'...
  13. History has demonstrated the importance of doing just that, i.e. Gemini 6 above. KSP needs a failure mode like this.
  14. Something definitely didn't look right when it lit...
  15. 70% of the earth's surface is water and some putz just has to be in this tiny plot of it... [snip]
  16. And if there's one thing SpaceX has demonstrated, it's an uncanny ability to smash rockets into ships...
  17. 90 minutes I heard. Half hour to load fuel, maybe there's still a chance?
  18. Find that pilot/boater who wandered into the wrong place and slap them, ugh!
  19. I see no problem here, but... aren't hydrolox Flames blue?
