How long until you learned to orbit?

About 3 hours a night for about 2 weeks trial and error with no manovers nodes to get into a polarish elliptical orbit. I was soooo stoked. Still am. I really really like this game and feel that I have stolen from myself a bit of that feeling by watching and reading every thing I can about KSP, orbital machanics and space stuff. I feel I have learnt so much about these topics for the last 6 months. So cool thanks SQUAD. oh those Apollo guys. crazy very smart brave NUT CASES. I would give it a go if I could -
My next mission is to rescue the previous rescue mission which was a mission to rescue a mission designed to rescue a rescue mission of a failed rescue mission that required a rescue mission to rescue a Kerbal on an unsuccessful rescue mission.

First thing I thought of too. Nice one. Very Kerbal. I was also thinking a nice simple green splat would be very appropriate too. On my phone so a. It hard to post. In my humble opinion I think Kerbals should go splat not poof.

I have tried a Scroogle search and a KSP Forum search but still can not find out where the screenshots go or how to view them. I would like to assist SQUAD with proper bug assists and also show off my awesome achievements. How does one take screenshot playing KSP on a mac, view it and post it? Preemptive thanks.

I have seen that Capt Skunky and others do some live streams of KSP. I would really like to watch some of these even if not live, but the twitch app on the iPhone dosnt seem to have a search function. I find this very strange for this type of app. Also cant wacth on the web site as iphone dosnt seem to work with the adobe thingy. Please help me watch these streams on the iPhone, please please please with a Mk16 Parachute on top.

I have not seen an explosion flag yet. But i would like to. Im a bit suprised there isnt a stock explosion flag. Nothing is really Kerbal unless explosions are involved, me thinks.

At about 2100m/s I will shut down the engines of my last stage by pressing x, then stage with with the space bar regardless of how much fuel is left and circularize with payload.

If Kerbol (sun) is viewable in your screen shot YOUR CRAFT CAN NOT BE SEEN (you are showing your craft from the unlighted side) so WHAT IS THE POINT OF POSTING IT? A black rectangle with Kerbol glare does not look cool or show off your most probably, most excellent craft, no one can see it. "The dark side" is a cool phrase not a cool image. Dedicated to Forum members who wish to SEE others most excellent crafts.

F5 for quick save and hold F9 to load last quick save. Oh BTW With my Mac quick load only works when not in fullscreen.

Nope I started out not using quick save for the same reasons as yourself, then had too many Kraken attacks. So now I use it like a check point when my craft change Spheres of influence. where is the challenge in using a computer game to simulate a space program. When it can be done for real.

Like those nutters in helium balloons and deck chairs. Yep ha ha NASA might be one of them over the next few years too. Some of them are into KSP Ive heard. And with China's occupational safety, and product quality control reputation. Ya wouldn't want to be a Chinese Takinaut if any of CNSA's staff are into Kerbal Space Program.

That would have been a nasty neck breaking landing. So Kerbal. I think it should be mandatory for video posts of Kerbal Space Program to have warnings attached. "DO NOT TRY THIS IRL" Surely SQUAD has some sort of duty of care responsibility.

KSP DMC horse armor for a single player game? Kerbalizer is here and with this thread maybe a Rocketizer is comming. Pritty but with no function no $ from me. How would SQUAD consider this if it were to happen, an update, expansion or a separate application? poke that stick in the ant nest bonyetty Btw IMHO Kerbal Space Program is the best value for money computer game that I have ever payed for and will probably buy it a third time soon.

That moment when landing a rover on Ike I press the space bar to activate the hovercrane, the game lags, I think I haven't pressed the space bar properly.So I quickly press it again. Doh! Two Ike impacters successful. What Ike rover.

Attach some Winglets no need to waste Mono. Also disabling engine gimble on boosters just before separation can also help I have found. Just remember to turn the gimble back on.

Nothing like percussion tuning. Better dream up a good rescue mission it dosnt look like much fuel there or parachutes. Oh your first rover lasted way longer than my first 3 I recken. Nice one. Sleep tight!

Turn based two player space rover soccer/football. I'm not sure if it world work, just putting it out there. Creat a pitch on another body other than Kerbal and use the remote sat mod(sorry guys its the only way I could think of to make it work) as the timer between player turns. The host create the game pitch, rovers and the ball. Now this is where I'm not sure if it could work. 1, live stream with the second player relaying their commands to the host(player one) before their(host) commands reach their(host) rover due to the time delay of the remote sat mod. The grater the distance the longer amount of time between turns. 2, pitch, rovers and ball created be whom ever. Player one starts the game by "kicking off" send commands via remote sat mod, then quickly quit and email game save to player two. Player two installs the saved game, loads up the game and their own rover. Player two can watch player one's rover "kick off" as player one's commands have been delayed by a period of time. Player two now sends their commands to their rover via remote sat mod, quickly quits and emails the saved game back to player one. Repeat untill agreed end game eg fist to 5 goals or 20 turned each. Not the most user friendly(not enough for me) idea for MULTIPLAYER KSP. Might be for you guys. U ask, I give the little mad ones I got. I know it dosnt tick all the boxes but I think it's a good and funny idea and others may have away around the mod problem.
