Yeah, have you ever used the Rapier? Its is anything but an overpowered engine. Not really better than any engine in the game already.

@ Moonfrog it doesn't contain the explosion. The bombs explode behind a pusher plate which transforms the sudden blast into a gradual acceleration through large shock absorbers. I would recommend you to read Winchell Chung's website which has quite some information on many theoretically possible propulsion methods. I wouldn't say this falls under the category Of Weapons because the Bombs aren't use to blow things up or kill people but to explore the cosmos. Though i still think its too overpowered for the Core game, atleast at the current speed you can climb up the tech tree.

No i'm just saying that this part would basically eliminate your need to balance your thrust, Specific impulse and mass of your spacecraft. Which is a big part of the game.

Is it possible to create your own branch on the Tech tree? If yes, this would be my proposed placement for the Nuclear pulse propulsion parts: (please excuse this horrible representation though) It definetly should require "Very Heavy Rocketry" and "Nuclear Propulsion". I think "Advanced Metalworks" could be a prerequisite too though. Just ignore this if you can't create your own Tech tree branches though.

They just don't want more factions of people who think better of themselves for not reloading and therefore rescuing themselves out of tricky situations similar to other problems this community has... Space related in the sense that you actually go or navigate in space? If yes i too think Spore was great and i'm very sad that the franchise basically died after only two years.

A healthy human being should be able to enjoy all those things. I myself talk about space and things that interest me from time to time but most often i listen and participate in the life of others. Just keep it balanced and watch that you don't concentrate to much on your own interests when you are around others or else you might even make them more uninterested.

One thing against Home schooling that comes to my mind is the fact that you don't spend all the time with other kids which i think is good wether you like them or not. Because later in life you too will have to deal with people you don't like and who don't like you. Its better to learn how to deal with them earlier. Edit: Ninja'd by Seret

Exactly Airbornem4. owning guns has to be regulated like driving a car. You pay to get a license (and actually learn to handle a weapon) and your guns get registered. Ofcourse you can still get them illegally then but it would make it harder. A sytem like this has proven itself already in many Countries.

Wrong Drakesdoom. Animals of suffient intelligence will avoid getting themselves killed. They will not take on an enemie that they know they can't beat. And that is a fact. Quite the opposite of your "kill them before they kill you". theory. And honestly "taking some of them with you?" This isn't some kind of movie here.

Why so bloodthirsty? Why not try to prevent all that breaking in instead or storing all kinds of armament. I don't get that mentality. And yes NASAFanboy, you are cruel if you think about killing someone the most painful way possible.
