  1. Exactly what the guy above me says. If you don't have the safety of the citizens in mind you shouldn't be Policeman.
  2. Doesn't Asperger make you less empathic? I don't really know though.
  3. Fast? Maybe on short sprints but it doesn't even has Supercruise. It also doesn't have a long range and even less if you choose the VTOL version (and i know it can carry drop tanks but they would just ruin its only advantage) and about the HUD targeting system, many fighters today use such a system. Its not the worst aircraft but it can't compete with other fighters on the market simply for the fact that its not giving you the best for all the money you spend on it. Other modern fighters are overall better aircraft for less money.
  4. There are also limits of G a hardware can take and i don't think F-22 and F-35 are the last american manned fighters of the U.S.Drones will and are already replacing bombers and ground attack aircraft, which i think is a good application for them, but it will take a long time (if at all) until they replace air superiority fighters
  5. I'm talking about the concept, not the technology. And what would this thing do with a railgun?
  6. Welcome to the Forum Conrad.
  7. This thing is surely not a fighter aircraft, so no need for a pilotEdit: i really don't get why they come up with that thing now, seems to me that they are 20 or even 30 years to late.
  8. Just take those "Anti-Kaiju missiles" from the Australian Jäger and put them on an aircraft or a ship, much more effective than a giant robot that just can't work in realty anyway.
  9. I'm not sure what you mean by take off assist.
  10. Of course it has to work like the real thing and it did not only fly, it broke the sound barrier too.
  11. ?! Anyway, i think its human nature to wonder about the unknown and to explore the unexplored. So I'm interested in pretty much everything and space is a very big part of that.
  12. Five Saturn V's? I never seen that proposal, but there was a smaller version that would have been launched on a suborbital trajectory on top of the S-IC (first stage of the Saturn V).
  13. You are just making up a sci fi ship without really any physics behind it. Write a book or something but i don't see what NASA would need your story for.
  14. And what are they going to do with it after you present it to NASA? And whats so brilliant about your spacecraft? You just give us dimensions.
  15. In the next 10-15 years? Apollo style, since there already is a spacecraft avaiable. Atleast i saw a concept which had the lander launched underneath the Orion mpcv.
  16. I liked the old one because it looked like the High-Gain Antenna of the Galileo probe. I think both versions should be in the game.
  17. Sorry but there is no such thing as a nuclear Turboprop. And the difference between a Warp drive and a nuclear jet is that the later one is actually perfectly possible, so it fits in the game.
  18. The benefit is that it wouldn't need fuel. They would heat up compressed air from the surrounding Atmosphere.
  19. I've never heard of nuclear Turboprops. And tell me Dooz, were NTR's ever used IRL?I think a nuclear jet engine would be a good idea if its balanced right.
  20. A much to big project. Start with something simpler. I always choose project which can never possibly be realized and then i loose interest.
