  1. Until someone comes out with a 1.5m 2-man capsule, i won't be happy.
  2. I certainly spent hours playing that... I still play Civ IV, though i'm not sure if it qualifies... One other game i still play is good old Pong. Addiction.
  3. until you've proved it possible, i won't be taking a crack at it, but after then, maybe. Do you have some sort of scoring system?
  4. Basically what the title says. I was building a space plane using procedural wings, and I was wondering what the the wingspan might be. But also, does kerbal engineer already do this? regards, Toby
  5. Hang on, but when I try to copy 'n' paste into the ksp root folder, a dialogue box pops up and said that I cant doit without replacing the original gamedata folder. I must be doing something wrong - what should i do otherwise?
  6. had a bit of a problem, installed the mod, but I couldn't find any of the fuselage parts, there were only the engines, cockpits and wings.
  7. If you want decent aerodynamical efects, you might want Farram aerospace research.
  8. Hi all, I am having another go at a space shuttle, and I've almost got it to work. The thing is, when i decouple the side SRBs, the whole craft goes into an unrecoverable engine over nose spin. This usually results in both my astronauts being killed. Also, I am using KW rocketry, Tiberdyne space shuttle system, Taverios pizza and aerospace and mk3 parts expansion.
  9. What happened to the rescaled landing gear? can't find them anywhere...
  10. Greetings fellow Kerbonauts! I was thinking about building a space station in orbit of the mun, i wasn't sure if it had been done before and i was wondering what you guys thought of it. cheers, Toby
  11. banned for having a tank as your picture
  12. most of my PC games are physical. Civ4, sims3, Trainz 2010...
  13. Accidentally throttled up, with jeb outside, when i was checking the charge on the lander. it flew up, ran out of fuel and crashed on the Mun. stranding jeb. damn.
  14. Greetings. I have recently downloaded the Remotetech mod pack, and I thought that the best way to set up a comms network was to put three satellites in Geosynchronous orbit, with them have equal distance between themselves and the other two, so they look like a circle divided into three equal slices. My problem is this: how on earth to do it? I'd appreciate any other help relating to this Mod. cheers, Toby
  15. mechjeb 2, if you can work out how to use it to get you to another planet... As for bases, try the HOME starter kit. I haven't used it myself as i haven't yet got around to constructing a base on another planet.
  16. surely when the kerbals joined the KSP they signed a disclaimer saying that they're aware of the risks and know that they're probably not going to survive. as for me and safety, i put it in but it's always minimalistic, reflecting my approach in reality.
  17. Hi all, I have placed my space station in a 400km orbit around kerbin, but i haven't a clue how much fuel i'll need to dock a second module. If it helps i'm using KW rocketry, tiberdyne space shuttle system and KSPX. Docking itself i can handle, but i don't know how much fuel i'll need to get my habitation module and docked. my module itself consists of three 2.5m battery banks, samwiched between two hitch hiker storage containers, a rockomax brand adapter on either end and a clamp-o-tron on the end of those. Cheers, Toby PS:does Mechjeb 2.0 include a working interplanetary autopilot and, back on topic, how reliable is the docking automaton?
  18. I have KW rocketry, that's very useful, Mechjeb 1.9 and KSPX. KSPX is good if you want to keep with the original theme of ksp, but you need some parts that aren't stock, e.g. probe ASAS. Mechjeb is useful if you need to get a large payload into orbit with the least amount of fuel, mechjeb is quite efficient when it comes to launching and other stuff.
